We love Cote but today was disappointing to say the least . Not only was the service slow, but the main course was not up to the usual standard. We ordered the Beuf en Croute . The portion size was small and whilst there was plenty of puff pastry the filling was non existent with 3 small pieces of shin beef and 2 tiny pieces of chopped carrot! The food was not hot either ! (We did order extra sides) I suggest that you take this off your menu rotation !

Shame the succulent looking lamb chops were as tough as old boots. The complimentary rhubarb martinis were strewn with inedible rose petals making the cocktail very difficult to drink. Such a shame.

We always have a great experience dining at Cote in Kingston. The team are very professional, attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the Crab Bisque - special and hope that makes it to the main menu. I also adore the baked goats cheese starter so that would also be good to have on a regular basis. Thank you too for the complimentary cocktails - very much appreciated.

The set lunch offered a good choice and we both enjoyed the asparagus to start followed by the omelette.

We visited a little while ago and it was just perfect: from the food quality to the ambiance. Not sure what happened on Friday, but was not impressed with the extra crispy pissaladière, the food was also very salty. Quite disappointed this time round!

I have dined often at Cote restaurants and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The menu changes often with interesting choices. The mid-day to seven p.m. menu is great value and my friends and family feel that Cote has it all covered very nicely!

Being a gluten - free vegan makes going out for dinner difficult sometimes especially when you are with others and trying to cater for all tastes. The staff were extremely diligent and went out of their way to make sure everyone and everything was perfect. Although the choices were limited for me, it was a lovely meal and evening. Big thanks.

We had a great time! Our waiter was very new and got pretty much every aspect of our order wrong, but he was so charming and hospitable that we really didn't mind! Food was mostly great (very dry poulet grillee), wine delicious and the atmosphere really lovely, thanks!
