Very good, apart from the noise - maybe better soundproofing would help. We will still visit regularly though - it's our 'go to' place when in Kingston.
Unfortunately it was very busy on our night, due to a lot of people from the Rose Theatre audience, so everything was a bit hectic. No complaints about the food though, as good as ever.
As always good food with a better than average menue and nice wine to match .Service is always good with very pleasant staff .The best venue on the riverside .
A friend and I had a very nice lunch at Cote Kingston. We had the 3 course lunch option for £12.95 which was good value and well presented.
Nice friendly service. Very accommodating. Lovely food and great view. Booked table for Mother's Day brunch and would recommend this restaurant to others too. Thanks
Excellent value for money and great taste of menu. I loved all 3 courses meal. waiting staffs are very friendly. I am looking forward to next month food.
What's not to like?! Polite staff and efficient service, good choice of tasty food from great fixed price 3 course menu, and a complimentary Kir Royale with our theatre ticket there too! Got our Friday night theatre evening off to a wonderful start. Same again tomorrow, hopefully! Thanks Cote Kingston!
Very good food and service in pleasant atmosphere. Table booked for six, which turned out to be rectangular rather than round which unfortunately impeded conversation among all the guests.
If you don't like loud busy restaurants don't go bit I like the food and atmosphere. I had sirloin steak which was in need of a pre cook prep, as it was still with grisly edge. It was cooked ok and was tasty enough. Have the chocolate fondant for dessert, yummy🥄
We had a wonderful meal on Mothering Sunday The food and service were great and we had a very good experience and very much enjoyed our afternoon.
Good location, nice staff and great food. Menu choice excellent. Wine very good and prices were very reasonable .Go there very regularly and the quality remains constant.
Very good food and service. My friend had not visited before but I believe she will return with her family as she lives nearby to the restaurant.
Really nice food and service. We loved the place and the environment even at busy hour staff were polite and always smiling, we recommend it.
A pleasant experience. Prompt service despite the restaurant being very busy indeed. Good choice on Early evening Menu. Soup delicious. Sea bass dish, which we both chose, a little bland, hence 5 rather than 6.
There was a great selection of dishes. The service was very good. Duck was cooked very well. I would go back again. In a great location too.
The food was up to the usual high standard. The fixed price lunch menu is such good value. Unfortunately the service was well below that I have experienced before at Cote. The explanation was, not enough staff employed by the company. Staff were apologetic, but it took the edge of an otherwise lovely lunch.
This is a pleasant venue and we often eat here. On this occasion the service was not as good even though we had a 21:00 booking and the restaurant was quite empty.
Good food and good atmosphere. The waiter was really friendly and helpful. The tarte aux pomes was absolutely delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection
Lovely meal as always at this great branch of Cote. The lunch menu is amazing value and service was swift even though the restaurant was very busy
We had a lovely Mother's Day meal at Cote. Have been several times before and it never fails to provide good food, service and atmosphere.
Friday lunch was great and extremely valuable for set meal. Food was great as usual and staffs are very friendly although very busy. I can't believe how handle this. well done gus.
Good breakfast as always service not quite as good as usual but not a problem. Nice view looking over the Thames shame the weather wasn't better
Great service and food, will go again and recommend to others. Perfect setting on the Thames, would be good in the summer to sit outside
Great service. Restaurant is located by the riverside walk. Nice view. The quality of the dishes that we ordered were in high standard. Highly recommended.
Great breakfasts... the vegetarian breakfast and the eggs benedict were both well cooked and presented. Friendly and efficient staff. Good pace of service. The formulae package provides good value for money.
The standard of food is excellent and the staff are both attentive and efficient making it a very enjoyable experience. Only downside was we were very cold as the door was permanently open and even when the restaurant filled up, it was still chilly.
As usual a real value for money early evening meal. Service with a smile and our one slight niggle was dealt with promptly and sympathetically. Food excellent and atmosphere buzzing.
Had a fabulous lunch at Cotes on Saturday for family birthday. They even put a candle on my ice-cream! The complimentary Kir Royales were lovely. The restaurant was very busy but we were not rushed at all and the food was excellent.
Excellent service, excellent food. Only marred by the noise in this very busy restaurant. Serving staff went out of their way to ensure my party were happy with their choices
As usual, excellent food and service. Two friends and I went for a late lunch and stayed a few hours over drinks and coffee in Cote's relaxed atmosphere.
The food was lovely but the service was not very good at all. The organisation of the staff seemed to be a bit disorganised with no real allocation of staff to particular areas of the restaurant, it just seemed as if everyone was doing a bit of everything. This meant we had to wait for a considerable amount of time between courses to order our next one or to order more drinks.
Food excellent, service friendly. atmosphere noisy Would i recommend Cote at Kingston to a friend ? Yes Would I return to Cote at Kingston? Yes
Quick service and lovely food. We both had the duck confit and the tarte tat in which were both delicious. Our 'reward' bottle of wine was also excellent.
Nice welcome and a speedy service the food was tasty the decor was pleasing , price was very reasonable and I would recommend this restaurant
Food was great as it always is but service was very slow and the waiter seemed at a bit of a loss when asked questions about the menu, had to keep going to ask others. In saying that she was very pleasant maybe needed more training or support.
Excellent meal served on piping hot plates Friendly staff Wide choice of meals including many specials Prompt service. We will definitely eat there again. Worth registering on their site for offers
Very enjoyable evening. The staff were welcoming, polite and very attentive even though the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening. The food was well cooked and delicious and nothing was too much trouble.
Up to the high standard of this particular chain. Impressed by front of house picking up on an allergy entered in the reservation, and making sure kitchen aware of danger of cross-contamination.
Excellent table with view of the river. Deviated from my normal steak frites nervously but had terrific seafood linguini. Can't believe the price considering the service, food and ambiance. Love these restaurants
Amazing food Exeptional service Good management Will be back surely Good atmosphere Atentivive staff Perfect for kids Good wine Autentic food Matt Stewart Amazing Experience
Arrived a little early so opted for another table. We were not welcomed with a smile and had to remind the Front Reception of our complimentary wine. The overall service was hurried, we asked for our starters not to be brought to the table until we had finished our bread/olives but they were brought anyway, crowding the table. This hurried service continued throughout, twice we asked the waiting staff to give us more time. We have eaten at Cote Brasserie before and do enjoy the food, today was no exception, but the service spoiled the overall experience. Cliché maybe but a smile does go a long way and is severely lacking at Cote Brasserie, Kingston. It was a fast food experience!
Very pleasant riverside setting; food very tasty as ever. Busy at Sunday lunchtime so a bit of a wait but staff very friendly and attentive. Would recommend
As always the food and service were excellent. The only reason I have not given the highest rating was that I ordered a medium rare steak and it arrived well done. I had eaten half of the steak before I realised so I did not point this out but I am confident that it would have been replaced if I had done so.
We love this restaurant, nice atmosphere, the service is good but you are never rushed and can relax and enjoy a nice leisurely lunch. We had the three course lunch menu, nice size portions and good value for money
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The two managers led their team to create a very happy atmosphere. Our waiter, Bernard, was particularly good. I have always had good experiences in all the cotes I've visited. Kingston is esprcially good.
very good service and help as I am disabled.i look forward to going in the better weather when I can sit outside by the river
I really enjoyed the food and great staff but the complimentary wine was not up to the mark to be honest it was not nice . Thanks
Visited Cote Kingston for the first time for lunch with a friend. The food was good, we both had the risotto and the staff friendly without being over attentive. I would certainly revisit and recommend to friends.
Usually go to Cote in Wimbledon where the service is far better. We wanted to eat quickly, and waited at every stage. Plus the early evening menu portion sizes was far smaller here than in Wimbledon. The terrine was only as thick as a slice of ham! Won't be hurrying back.
Delicious and freshly cooked. Yummy!! Service great as always. Will be back soon. Delicious fresh calamari. Steak frites lovely and juicy with crispy fries. Chicken salad so generous and tasty.
