Bit of a delay in taking dessert order. Otherwise excellent. Helpful friendly staff. Excellent food on set lunch menu. Good value. We will come again.
Great service, food is always good and we love the restaurant interior. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. We always go back there when in Marlow
Food was excellent and served in goo time and the service was very good, our table was waiting for us and it was a pleasant evening
The menu was excellent this month, much nicer than June. The manager on duty is a great credit to you, everytime we see he's on duty, we know that the service will be excellent. Our waiter also friendly. A good evening was had by all.
We were greeted with a glass of kir and had attentive service all evening. The food as ever was excellent and fantastic value for money.
Service was a little less perfect than normal on a very busy Friday lunchtime. Our meals were tasty though and very good value for money. I love Cote 😃
Very friendly and helpful service. Went for a relaxing Saturday lunch - good choice of food and my wife and I were very well looked after. Certainly return again
Enjoy visiting Marlow and Eton. Service could be speedier/more attentive. Good to see vegetarian menu added. May's plaice special a disappointment. Appreciated complimentary Kir Royales.
Superb cuisine, excellent service and ambience. From door to table: discreet, polite, charming. Attentive without hovering. Cordon bleu food, delightful presentation, delicious and highly recommended.
Great food as usual and lovely friendly staff, love this place! Only fault was they forgot our French beans and they did not arrive until we were half way through our meal, but these things happen when yourre busy
Good quality food cooked and presented extremely well. Excellent choice from the main menu and the monthly specials Restaurant large and open so tends to be a little noisy when busy.
Excellent food served by first class staff. Still our favourite restaurant in Marlow. The high ceiling and open atmosphere make it possible to converse without speaking loudly unlike some other local restaurants.

The food was ok - delicious calamari but weekend chicken was AWFUL! The service was friendly. There wasn't many people there on a Saturday at 1pm, so maybe it's telling.
Our favorite restaurant, the meal was first class and the staff were very good as always. We go at least twice per month and always enjoy the experience. Keep up the standard of the food.
Great food, helpful staff, but ... please do not sit parties of two near to larger parties of 6 or more - it becomes too noisy and impossible to hold a conversation!
We had a wonderful birthday meal for my son. Nine of us with varying tastes and dietary requirements all found some wonderful choices on the menu. The three course meal with wine came to about 32 pounds a head, which for such a lovely setting and great food was excellent value.
Tasty food, good service, vibrant atmosphere. One of our favourite places to eat in Marlow. Sometimes it gets quite noisy & hard to hear due to decor.
Nice location and setting. Reasonable menu but food was only okay. We had to work to get the waiters attention even although they were not that busy. Okay for a casual meal but nothing special.
Very good service, great starters and super mains, and much better than our food at The Hand and Flowers in Marlow!! 3 weeks ago! I had the hake as mains and my husband very good breast of duck.
Food selection and quality good as usual. Main dining area very noisy when full but small seating area at the front of the restaurant much quieter. Service good. Would prefer gratuity not to be included on the bill at 12.5% but left to the discretion of the customer.
The restaurant is attractive and was not busy on a Tuesday evening. However, the service was slow and extra bread did not materialise and two glasses of red wine ordered after the first bottle was finished only arrived after a reminder. My Roquefort salad starter was delicious but my rib-eye steak was of poor quality - not at all tender. I would give it another chance, but at this point i cannot rate it better than 4 out of 6.
Had a lovely lunch with friends, the food was delicious and the staff excellent, they sand Happy Birthday to my friend and presented her with he cake, will definitely be back.
Good reception, nice premises, great staff, and tasty, good value food. Would be good if you pointed out the differences between a meal on menu, and same meal on 2 (or 3) course offer. For example, no peas with cod goujons when on meal deal Thanks You
We are very familiar whith Cote and are always pleased with the menus, however for the first time my wife was disappointed with the asparagus starter which was not as she expected, having had it before, it was cut into fine strips and was almost raw. It wasn't sent back but the staff were told. She also ordered green beans for a side dish of the main course and had to return them as they were not green and extremely stringy! The staff were, as always so kind and offered a desert or a coffee but we really didn't need that, we were just anxious that they were aware. We shall continue to go to Côte both in Marlow and in Clifton Bristol, we are devoted regulars!

Staff very attentive, food could have been hotter. Good choice on the menu. Reasonably quick service as on a work lunch break. Enjoyable lunch. Thanks.
The restaurant was very cosy with ambient lighting. The staff were attentive and the service was very good. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our dining experience and will definitely go back.
Manager was especially pleasant and helpful! Food was delicious. It was a little noisy but overall great evening! Thanks for the birthday ice cream, too. X
Food overall was VERY good. Service reasonable could have been little quicker but they WERE very busy. Marked down because a) serving raw onion in an accompanyment to Scallops is NOT a good idea and can't see how anyone would think it works (?!) and b) if you are going to charge £38 for a Bordeaux (St. Emiliion) it needs to be a reasonable one - not something that even the French may consider a simple table wine. That said, I have just seen it is nearly £20 to order on line, which would suggest it is generelly over-rated. I would suggest Cote shop around if they are going to keep non-French wines off their list..... (my wife and I are both WSET qualified - L3 & L2 respectively, so we do know a little about wine....)
Excellent all round! Ordered the warm goats cheese salad for the first time... delicious We often go for the citron tart or the crepes for dessert, both really yummy and love the complimentary water and reasonably priced champagne
This was our second visit to Marlow Cote, the first time we enjoyed the food which was delicious and beautifully presented. Today, the service was good but we were very disappointed with the food quality and presentation. We chose the 2-course set menu. The Asparagus first course was just thrown onto the plate, it was very tiny string like asparagus and hardly reflected the fact that it is asparagus season. The sea bass was tasty, but again it was just thrown onto a bed of mashed potatoes in a haphazard way. When we paid the bill, we were told that the Chef was off today, so we can only think that this is the reason for the inferior food compared to our first visit. It was a shame as it was a special celebration. When we placed our order we did ask to swap a one or two items on the a la carte menu, but we were told that this would be an additional charge. The waiter did get quite frustrated with us when we asked to change things around. Overall a very disappointing experience for a Cote restaurant as we have been to many other branches. Thank you.
Lovely lunch chicken and gravy with dauphinoise and the legendary creme caramel, delicious. Just a shame the fresh asparagus had not been delivered by 1pm .
Good food; friendly efficient service; not too noisy or over-crowded; not too precious. I would certainly go again. (Why insist on a minimum of 25 words for a review?)
Good food and service in a lovely environment. Would prefer the rather sizeable gratuity not to be automatically added to the bill but left to the discretion of the customer please.
Some weeks in advance my wife made a booking for our family (a table of 13) to celebrate my 80th birthday. We had all arrived by the time of the booking, namely 1315, and sat down. Eventually a waiter came and brought some bottles of water which we requested, but it was not until 1415, after my son had gone to the serving station and demanded that our orders should be taken, that the waiter re-appeared. He took the orders, but seemed incapable of remembering (or noting) who had ordered what, because when our starters eventually arrived he had to call up and down the table to establish who had ordered which dish! He also brought a couple of dishes that we had not ordered, but after another interval we all received what we had ordered. There was another long interval before we got our main courses. We again had to ask that someone should come and take our order for wine. We complained to the manager, and things did improve somewhat after that, and he brought a complimentray bottle of champagne as a sweetener. No one asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. We eventually left at 1615 extremely disappointed at the very poor service we had received.
I visited on 8th April to celebrate my birthday but could not use my bottle of wine voucher as it had been entered on line. I did in fact book the reservation on line. he meal we had was very good and the waiter very nice. I have been many times to Marlow and also to Westbridgford near Nottingham.
As usual the food matched our expectations. It certainly comes up to the standard of a good French brasserie. Service seemed to be stretched and we were disappointed to be made to ist at a small table in a corner while there were other more attractive tables available.
From the moment we walked in staff was very attendteive an professional. Food was superb and good speedy service . We looking forward to returning again
Cote Brasserie Marlow has lovely setting outside the back and good inside space. Good food at a reasonable price. Perfect for a relaxed lunch. Steak Frites recommended
Great fun, food was great but the service was very slow due to the large number of clients, the staff did their best to rectify the difficulties
Absolutely love cote in Marlowe amazing service amazing food amazing wine. One of my favourite restaurants. very affordable. Great decor and I have a meal very yum I go.
Attentive and jolly service. Great food and an intimate atmosphere. I enjoyed the meal and will be using them again. A la carte menu good value.
Excellent menu choice, food & service. Great value for money. The tables seemed rather too close together but as our neighbours were friendly, it didn't matter on this occasion.
Excellent value for early evening meal. Food was very tasty and everyone in our group of 6 was very pleased. A good wine selection and excellent service throughout, justifying the automatic service charge.
We enjoyed the full breakfast .Th restaurant was quiet but the service still very slow .Toast arrived after hot food and was barely coloured Howecer overall a pleasant experience and early days
We were entertaining guests, was a busy Saturday night, had to wait a while for service, but overall food was good and we had an enjoyable evening.
An Enjoyable evening :the staff were friendly ,the food well cooked, the meal arrived promptly, good value for money. The restaurant was lively throughout the evening.
We have always liked going to Marlow so when we came across Cote Restaurant one sunny summers evening we just had to eat alfresco and it was pure romance. Cheers 🍾 🥂
Very enjoyable evening. Well looked after by the waiting staff. My meal was good. My family members also enjoyed their meals. Great choice of wines. Would recommend.
Slow service, small portions, multiple meal checks, incorrect bill received, all of the above a shame as the quality of the food was actually very good.
Food was good. Service was good. Value was OK (Thames Valley prices). Good choice of wine by the glass. Beer offering was very poor (and expensive for what it was), especially considering the Rebellion Brewery is just down the road! The decor is smart, but the effect was ruined by the noise - the floor surface is hard and the reflected sound from other tables is uncomfortably loud. A good buzz is fine; a continuing clamour is not so good. But it was a Saturday night and the brasserie was packed, so they must be do doing most things well.
