Côte Marlow

Having taken it they did manage to forget to place our order for about 20 mins and had to take it again, but the manageress there was so lovely, charming and friendly that it was impossible to be at all annoyed and, without prompt, she compensated us for that. Generally the staff were very friendly. Food was as you'd expect at Cote although it wasn't the best example of the chicken and walnut salad that I've ever had.

Excellent value for early evening meal. Food was very tasty and everyone in our group of 6 was very pleased. A good wine selection and excellent service throughout, justifying the automatic service charge.

Good food and service - what you expect from Cote. Restaurant was fairly busy, but didn't impact on quality or timeliness of food. Would visit again.

We are regular customers at this restaurant. We are beginning to feel that standards of food are dropping a bit. Service is still good. Breakfasts still good

Everything was perfect,. Food well prepared and tasty, service excellent and price reasonable. Will definitely return in the near future. Pass on our thanks to the restruant.

We were entertaining guests, was a busy Saturday night, had to wait a while for service, but overall food was good and we had an enjoyable evening.

The food was excellent, and the service was as good as usual, until we were handed the desert menu. Then we were left entirely alone. No follow up. After waiting some 45 minutes (ok, we were talking a lot) for a waiter to take our order for coffee, I had to go and find a staff member to take the order. It transpired that the waiter in our section had gone home, which explained why we no longer had any table service. Some time after finishing our coffees, I had leave the table to ask a staff member for the bill. We opted not to pay the 12.5% service charge, as we felt the service collapsed as soon as our waiter went home half way through the service.

The service was slow and a bit chaotic with one of the orders being incorrect. However, the food was excellent and we will visit again.

The lunch and early evening menu is very good value and great quality food. There's always service with a smile too. Always an enjoyable experience.

Great service. Welcoming lady was excellent. Food good. The restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere. Side of beans and chips a bit small for 2.95 but great night.

Slow service, small portions, multiple meal checks, incorrect bill received,all of the above a shame as the quality of the food was actually very good.

We have always liked going to Marlow so when we came across Cote Restaurant one sunny summers evening we just had to eat alfresco and it was pure romance. Cheers 🍾 🥂

Excellent menu choice, food & service. Great value for money. The tables seemed rather too close together but as our neighbours were friendly, it didn't matter on this occasion.

An Enjoyable evening :the staff were friendly ,the food well cooked, the meal arrived promptly, good value for money. The restaurant was lively throughout the evening.

Very disappointed with the Spinach and Mushroom Crepes, the Crepes were soaked with the sauce, which was more a liquid than a sauce making them soggy. Staff polite, nice surroundings.

Excellent fixed price menu with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. Service and ambience very good. There is also an extensive al a Carte menu.

Food was excellent, 3 different starters and 3 different mains, all of which tasted great. Service was good, though a little slow considering it did not seem that busy.

The service was great and we weren't rushed. Food was good but not amazing. Crepe dish very salty. Still we had a lovely Mother's day lunch.

I went there with my granddaughter but although we tried three different tables, we decided to leave as it was just so noisy! We went to Prezzo.

Apart from the initial wait for the drinks order to be taken all very good, food was nice, well presented, staff were cheerful and polite

The Food was as excellent as usual but the service was a little slower than on previous visits. Our chocolate pudding requests were obviously popular as our group ordered 3 but only 1 was available.

As always great food and good service. The set menu is a very resonable price. Wne by the glass is pricey though. A very good chain of brasseries.

We were warmly welcomed and the manager and staff were very accommodating. The ambience was good, as was the food. We were able to use our Cote Rewards voucher without any difficulty.

I have used Cote Marlow several times Saturday 1st I took friends with me.The starters were fine the main courses were cold and in my mind small portions.2 of us had the Breton Fish stew which I have before the potatoes were raw the fish assortment poor. We complained to a manger who didn't seem very helpful and blamed the chef.One meal was taken off the bill. In the process of clearing the table my friends glasses disappeared never to be seen again.Such a pity I will give Marlow a rest for a while.

Very lovely food but they came with wrong starter to my son. They changed it quickly though. Then the wait between starter and main was a bit to long. We didn't say anything but even one of the waiter notice it that we looked a bit bored so he went and checked it out.

Very friendly and efficient service. A good choice on the menu. The set menu at lunch and early evening is extremely good value. Always a nice atmosphere.

Good food and coffee but slow service and high chair not at table despite requesting at time of booking and on telephone confirmation. Would have been nice to have a choice of table too, we were stuck in a side room rather than the main bright airy dining room.

Staff very friendly and food, when it eventually arrived was very good (particularly the Tarte Tartin). Unfortunately the service was extremely slow. We would visit again.

The service was slow although it wasn't busy, I'm not sure what was happening in the kitchen. The manager had to apologise for the wait between our courses and then the steak was not cooked properly. We didn't send it back as didn't have more time to spare but to be fair the manager didn't charge us for this steak and also gave us complimentary drinks and desserts. They couldn't apologise enough and we'll be back as this was probably a one off and we were unlucky. They obviously try and provide a good service but are quick to recognise when things don't go as well as they should.

We had a delicious breakfast - perfectly cooked, excellent service in a beautiful and stylish restaurant. A real treat. Give it a try some time!

The food is absolutely fine but the service is rubbish. We went in there for breakfast with two kids and the waiters were really slack despite it not being that busy. I think I had to get up maybe five times to ask them for stuff that should have been on the table or come with the food we ordered. They just didn't seem that bothered. The only thing they were fast with was bringing the credit card machine out! And they added 12.5% service charge automatically - their service blatantly wasn't worth 12.5%. Despite having no complaints about the food, I wouldn't go back there because they just couldn't care less, they really annoyed us.

We had a fairly late sitting of 20:45 as restaurant was so busy, but we weren't disappointed. Great food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will be back.

We had a table of 8 for Mothers Day and although the restaurant was full, the service was excellent and the staff fantastic given the workload

I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and especially as I was in a section without background music. However, I was disappointed that I did not receive an email confirming that I had registered with the reward programme as promised when I completed the registration process and I did not receive therefore my free bottle of wine as promised when I register.

Veery sadly, this was not their finest hour. I have been going to Cote several times a month with friends for breakfast, lunch & occasional dinners - I have been so impressed in the past I even wrote to head office saying that the quality, value & totally professional service was second to none & I have eaten at Cote's in Oxford, Liverpool, Reading, Exeter & all of them without exception had the same ethos to service. However today, starter excellent, main - steak + french fries, I asked for rare, it was well done & the chips looked as if they had been cooked twice!! So not a happy bunny. When my guest was out of ear shot I did complain to the manageress & they deducted it from the bill but that is not the point. I seriously hope they can maintain the high standard I have come to expect & have over the last 4 years. Maria.

Great service and welcome. Food was very good and served promptly. Very Nice Kir Royale to begin with. Steaks were excellent and chocolate mousse to die for.

Had to send all food back as sausages weren't cooked and it wasn't hot. Service from waiting staff was poor. Manager did offer a glass of champagne as compensation but not good enough for Mother's Day

A very passable French brassiere experience in Marlow. Fish soup particularly authentic with tasty rib au poivre and frites. Added bonus a free bottle of cote du Rhone rouge via email promotion complemented a pleasant well rounded Sunday lunch. Attentive staff too. What more to like?

Great all round! The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were great and the food was to die for! Defo not microwave food! I will go again!

Lovely food in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were polite and we did not feel rushed to order or between courses. A great place for a lunch at a very reasonable price.

Used business and very pleased, will be regular choice in future. Was using another place in Marlow but cancelled that after the first visit and booked again this week

Excellent service. Always with a smile. Brunch is great value for money. We are regulars and will continue to be so. A particular thanks to our lovely waitress.

It was as good as ever only downside was our table was a bit too close to the one next to us - don't think it is normally like that

We went there on bank holiday Monday, not terribly busy and seemed to be lots of staff on duty but service was absolutely dreadful. Such a disappointing lunch

We were very happy with the service we received by the friendly staff. The food was good and the menu fine. The occasion was out 51st wedding anniversary and we are glad we went to your restaurant.

Lovely relaxing but buzzy atmosphere with attentive staff who give you enough time between courses so you don't feel rushed. Great quality and choice on the menu for all tastes.

We were 5 adults & 4 children under 8. We were well looked after with good food. Thank you. Only parking in marlow is a pain.
