Côte Marlow

It was very noisy all evening which rather spoilt the evening. We were sat near the door and it was very drafty. Food and service were excellent.

My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal this evening. The menu choices were good and the pre-7 pm set meals were great value for money. In addition the service was faultless.

A few problems last night. The wrong meal being brought for one of our party; who then had to watch us eat and then eat alone when we had finished. But the manager couldn't do enough to apologise and to compensate us. But when we ordered dessert a wrong dessert was brought out...to the same member of our party. Talk about adding insult to injury. But Cote is one of our favourite places to eat. Good food, good atmosphere and (usually) good service. So whilst last night's experience wasn't on the money, it didn't spoil a nice evening. Just watch the salt though. Both the duck and the lamb seemed too heavily seasoned!

Great food. Great service. Lovely atmosphere thank you. Really enjoyed our meal and so did our kids. I think it’s the first time they’ve eaten all their food at a restaurant ages 10&7 and we eat out quite often!

Service very slow with poorly trained staff. Food was nice but drinks were far too expensive. Coffee was nice.

Everyone in our party of three thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We chose from the two set lunch menu’s and felt that the meals represented excellent value for money. The food was delicious and well presented. The waiting staff were friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we never felt hurried. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch. We will definitely come again and would recommend to our family and friends!

Great food and service, swordfish was especially good and very good value for money. Bit noisy but it was a Saturday. Definitely going to come back

Very poor experience. Limited menu choice and main course potatoes not cooked. Moved halfway through meal to make way for a table of 14. Very poor and will never return. Was meant to be a meal for mum and turned out awful. We went to Macdonald's as we were still hungry

The usual good food and excellent service with a delicious free Rhubarb Martini cocktail to start with!

Food was lovely but service out of kitchen was very slow. 50 minute wait for main course after we'd finished our starter. Not good! Especially since I was taking guests out for dinner to say thank you.

For my father’s 64th birthday Cote were very helpful at setting up our party table. The service was excellent and food great. Plus they bought out the cake without a prompt. Definitely recommended as an excellent venue for a celebration!

It’s a nice venue but my experience was disappointing compared to other occasions. Service needs reviewing, there’d didn’t seem to be any discussion amongst the waiters as to who had attended us and what was needed. Complained about the chicken dish, both members of the party commented that it was very pink but were told everything is temperature tested. The chicken remained uneaten.

Despite it being very busy, the food, service and atmosphere was great and we had a lovely meal and afternoon at a very reasonable price. Thanks.

Fabulous staff and excellent service. Really nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend it as a place to visit and eat. Food portions were very big and quality was top notch

We’ve been to Cote Marlow for many years! it’s our go to place.... but it started to let us down. Food and service wise. However, we went it February for my father’s birthday and was pleasantly surprised! The food came out different yet amazing and the staff were new too but defiantly good at their job! Went back last night and again i couldn’t have asked for more! brilliant turn around Cote! Keep up the good work.... and food.

We had a super meal at Cote Marlow. The steak was perfect in every way, the French fries are the best in my opinion in Marlow. The St. Germain g&t's wonderful. Great service, the waiting staff & management are very attentive. All this for a great price too. With the quality of food & service this high, but with such a great price - we will be coming back many times I hope.,.

Very good food but service too rushed, I.e, starters coming directly after nibbles and drinks had just been served. Several items on the menus were not available, (Sunday lunch time 1.30pm ? ) I think there has been a big staff turn aground here as the previous excellent staff no longer seem to be here and it shows. All seems a bit hap hazard, yes it was quite busy but one expects that on Sunday in Marlow. Check your BILL, compimentery drinks were charged on the bill. Good value for money and always reliable enjoyable food,, it has been my go to place to eat for years but sadly seems to have lost a bit of it's French feel, is it the Brexit effect ? !!!!

This is our go to restaurant for a special night out, and again we were not disappointed. The service was just right, not rushed but no delays either. My husband would have preferred his mains hot rather than warm but did not detract from enjoyment the meal. Had it not been for an obnoxious diner on a neighbouring table the evening would have been perfect.

As always food was lovely , staff friendly and attentive... the set menus are great value for money. It is our favorite restaurant for family gatherings! Thank you.

On a Sunday evening we had lovely food, and the staff were really good... it’s a lovely restaurant and it was a great time to be there. Nice for all four of us to have a proper choice of what we wanted to eat.

We had a lovely lunch today. Mother's Day is always busy but the service was really good! Food was good too. Happy to go back another time.

I took my mother in law for lunch on a Saturday. Her eyesight is not good and we were offered a very nice table close to the windows to help her see better. The staff were very friendly as always, the service was efficient and delivered with a smile. We were offered a complimentary gin and tonic as part of some offer which we enjoyed. The food was very nice and good value for money. I am a regular and have never been disappointed.

We were welcomed and given a choice of table we chose to sit in the front lobby. Service was very fast to start with and our starters arrived promptly my husband had steak tartare he said it was fairly bland but he was given condiments to add flavour to it. My endive salad was amazing. Whilst waiting for our mains a waiter bought us the dessert menu!! Our mains were very good although I burnt my tongue on the pork belly. It got very noisy as tables are close by but overall an enjoyable evening out.

I had a terrible breakfast with my partner and daughter for Father’s Day! We go to cote for breakfast at least once or twice a month as we love the eggs benedict and find it good value with the orange juice and hot drink. However when we went on Father’s Day our daughters breakfast was brought out first and we had to wait a further 15 minutes. When it did come there was no no hollandaise sauce on either of our breakfasts! The waiter looked bemused when I asked him where the sauce was. We also had not had our teas at this point so asked for these. 5 minutes later we were given a pot of cold sauce each...I sent mine back and asked for it to be warmed up. Our teas still hadn’t come at this point. The yolks weren’t runny so I only ate half my breakfast. Our teas still hadn’t come when we finished so I just asked for the bill and was offered 50% off which, considering we didn’t even get hot drinks and both our breakfasts were cold by the time we started to eat them, I feel wasn’t a reasonable offer. The waiter did apologise and said it is because they were so busy!! This is no excuse....you shouldn’t make so many bookings if you can’t offer a good service!

I appreciate it was very busy and there were groups for Father’s Day but it very much felt like tables for 2 were an after thought and put in the worst positions. We felt like we’d been put in a corridor, and a draughty one at that. The food was good though.

Lovely restaurant, excellent food and great service. An early Mother's Day lunch for my French mother and she was very impressed on her first visit to my favourite restaurant chain! Pity about a nearby noisy baby but not Côte's fault.

Friendly service. Good atmosphere. Catered to my dietary requirements. Food was excellent- great taste, speedy delivery, and didn’t feel like we were being rushed despite how busy it was.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Food was prepared to an excellent standard with great presentation. Staff were friendly and polite. Great overall experience and would not hesitate to return.

Fish pie was cold - so we returned it and it was microwaved and nearly burnt my mouth!!!!! Salmon and veg was absolutely tasteless !!!! We didn’t make a fuss as we had elderly relatives with us from America. Please respond as it wasn’t acceptable!

Great food together with great service from the Cote staff. The meal itself was excellent, the Belly Pork meal was absolutely delicious. All this and a very reasonable price. First class.

Service good. Marlow location as always totally clean. Happy crew. Pity about the poor presentation of one of the starters - limp salad leaves - looked as if it had been pulled out of a bin & no Cornichons & nothing done when I metioned it! Main fish & steak excellent & chips super hot & crispy yet soft. Creme caramel as always orgasmic.

Very welcoming as always. Delicious food and a lovely morning spent with friends in the garden. We highly recommend the Formule breakfast... With a glass of champagne!

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Côte in Marlow last night. The food and the service were both fantastic. They made our Anniversary really special. Thank you so much and we will be back soon.

Lovely location, food was ok, service a bit slow. Sat for a long time without a drink & waiters seemed annoyed when I asked for stuff.

Lovely courteous food and very good food and wine all at a reasonable price. This is still one of my favourite restaurants in Marlow. I keep going back with different freinds and they all enjoy it.

Friendly but very inexpereienced staff. Taking far too long to clear between courses. Not listening to orders and getting them wrong. Not putting cutlery down where it should be. Not topping up waters, wine etc etc. I've been visiting Cotes all over London for many many years and assumed the quality of food and service would be the same across the other branches. Very disappointing with Marlow especially on a £354.00 bill.

I often dine at Côte Marlow with friends but it’s always a bit of a gamble to hold a big event in a restaurant as I’ve seen it go very wrong!...However I really shouldn’t have worried here....that service as always was impeccable - the food was fantastic and all of my party of 16 left very happy 😊 - I couldn’t recommend Côte more for a big event - well done!

Good food, good atmosphere, friendly service, - all the right ingredients.

Lovely airy place, nice waiters. Managed to get the recipe for that favourite pudding: frozen berries in white chocolate sauce. Will try it at home.

Excellent food and service in a very pleasant location. We will certainly be visiting again before too long and will recommend this Restaurant to friends and family.
