I had lunch with two girlfriends and we all throughly enjoyed the expeience. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and most definitely service with a smile. The restaurant decor is very pleasant and spacious. The menu was extensive and there was also a separate lunch menu which was extremely good value. The food was well cooked and presented and we all enjoyed our meal. I definitely highly recommend it.
We had a great time last Saturday at the Muswell Hill restaurant the food was good but slightly down on the excellent food we normally receive, firstly I had the charcuterie board, the bread came out not charcoal grill with garlic but instead 2 slices of white bread, also the French butter pate that's complements the dish was only half full!! I did complain & the staff quickly replaced these items. My wife had the sea bass however there was very little sauce when she complained she got more sauce but the sauce came out luke warm & watery. Could do better. Jango X
Good value lunch menu with a variety of options to suit everyone. Delicious desserts. Both red and white house wine went down very well. Only criticisms - had to change a few of the glasses as the dishwasher hadn't done a very good job and the service was a little bit slow. Lovely, helpful and friendly waiting staff who were available if you needed them, but were unobtrusive. There were 6 of us and all in all we had a very pleasant time.
Good service-very good food-had a three course meal-got my favourite table by the window-felt like this was a special treat for me-left feeling very happy-will be back there again very soon next week- to try the lunch time menu for October-The October Specials are really lovely-Well Done to all the team at Cote Muswell Hill.....I go to Cote nearly every week-and have done since it first opened-Love It........
Both of our meals were excellent, the sea bass was delicious and well presented the beef bourguignon was plentiful and very well cooked. The service was very attentive but unobtrusive. Overall, would I recommend this restaurant , yes I most certainly would. I am only sorry I am only visiting this area so will not be around very often, But will recommend to my friends who live nearby.
Food very tasty, atmosphere pleasant, service very polite, our only issue was we hadn't finished our starters when the main course very quickly arrived as was placed on table, then I had barely finished the main course when this SAS rushed away. We didn't mention this at the time but on reflection felt this made our evening out together feel a bit rushed. We did wonder whether they needed the table, but don't think this could of been the case as the restaurant wasn't very busy and we had arrived almost an hour early for our reservation .
I felt that Cote was struggling today. I know it was Mother's Day but.... 1. No table was ready for the six people in my party. 2. We had to make our own suggestion to put tables together to seat us comfortably ..to begin with we were given a table for 4 and as I said we were 6. 3 My husbands starter arrived with his main course. 4.We were charged for the 4 complimentary "Kie Royales" and had to point this out to the waiter. This was later reimbursed.
Excellent waitress and lovely food. But we showed our booking number and free wine offer on entry, yet it was charged for on the bill. We were expecting this, as the same happened last year in Leamington Spa, and the manager again changed it on request, but having to do this spoiled a nice evening somewhat, and it was disappointing that Cote still had not put it in their system.
Good food, great value, lovely staff. I go to the Muswell Hill branch quite often and this time six of us went for a birthday breakfast for our friend. The staff gave us a wine bucket with water for her flowers and couldn't do enough, all with a smile. Great local place and excellent value, especially for breakfast/brunch.
It is always a pleasure to visit Cote Muswell Hill and this time was no exception. Antonio one of the Managers made us feel very welcome and even though the steak was a little overcooked he replaced it very quickly. The rest of the meal was lovely and the calamari as delicious as ever. Well done Cote.
