Eaten here twice now recently, excellent value for money and great food. Ribeye steak to die for, cooked to perfection with hollandaise and truffle oil sauce. Service is friendly, helpful and attentive - great place.

Easy to book. No problems being seated. Very prompt service. No aggressive pushing of wine. Bottle of water on table right away . Great food , great service and value for money

Our request for a quiet yet well lit area of the restaurant was clearly taken on board. The waiter was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The complimentary blood orange martini cocktail was delicious. We had a super time celebrating my mother’s 82nd birthday.

The food was great and the service was good too. I just wish you would not add the 12.5% on the bill although it is optional. Let me tip what i want.

We are Cote regulars but this is the first time we’ve eaten from the Prestige menu. Most of the choices were dishes that used to be on the normal fixed price menu. Good choice of mains but there were no salad options on the starters which is weird as the cheaper fixed price menu had 2 salad starters. That said, good was good and service efficient, friendly but not over bearing. Not much atmosphere - only a couple of other tables taken - but it was 4 pm on a Thursday

The starters were OK, just mediocre, the risotto which we have had many times before was highly peppered and had clumps of rice rather than individual grains. Perhaps a new chef? the staff were apologetic and gave us free coffee's. Coffee and dessert was fine, on the other hand not much to go wrong with ice cream! The staff were attentive and concerned about our less than perfect meal.

Disappointed that the advertised special "Frisee de Lardons" was only available as part of the cheaper set menu- when I asked for it I was told I couldn't have it even though there was no main on the menu that I would eat! Not what I would call good service. Restaurant was busy and so noisy that you couldn't hear across the table- the acoustics are dreadful and not helped by a server who spoke loudly.

As always we were all very happy with our meals. Lots of options and always great quality and at a very reasonably price. The set menu is a bargain!

Excellent service, good food menu, acceptable wine, rather noisy and crammed in, convenient for the theatre. It is quite posible that I will visit this branch again.

Fab lunch - great food and great service all at a reasonable price. We ate from the lunchtime specials. The chicken was superb and the steak was great, too.

Not as good a general experience as at several other Cotes around the country. Starters were not served together - I had to go and ask for my partner's starter after a 5 minute wait! My asparagus starter was on a cold plate, as was my duck. The fish goujon and chips were good. Glasses of wine good. Coffee was excellent - quite unusual for quality anywhere. Price was reasonable considering central Oxford. Excellent branches visited are at Tunbridge Wells and Farnham.

As usual, friendly and attentive service.good choices of starters and mains (no room for desserts). Same for drinks. Water comes immediately. A little slow to take our orders but quick after that. Food quality and quantity very good. Easy to book on line . We used to get something extra free( aperitif or dessert) when booking on-line but not recently. Why.? Great restaurant

We came to Oxford on Friday for dinner 10 of uas and Cote staff at Oford could not have been more helpful to make our evening special. I dropped some balloons off earlier I the day and they even helped with where I could get them blown up. We were in a semi private room which was perfect. Food was delicious and staff were great, group of 10 can be tricky but the staff made it super easy and it all went well. Thank you so much

Good service and atmosphere. Food was delicious. Only minor negative if your menu says a dish includes avocado then it needs to either have it in or you explain you have run out. When queried about it I was brought a tiny dish of avocado perhaps they just forgot to put it in! Otherwise another good meal at Cote

Friendly welcome, choice of tables, quick efficient service. Food as described on the menu. Food issues catered for - vegetarian and gluten-free. Usual Côte quality.

Excellent complimentary cocktail. The Veal escalope was very good, but needs to be served with more than just water cress. Fries are cheap to produce and the profit margin is also good .

My son and I have a severe dairy allergy. The staff were brilliant and double checked all the ingredients and the food was delicious. We had a great evening.

The service was brilliant and very quick! All meals came out together and were beautifully cooked. We were a party of 7 and chose from the early evening and prestige menus - both offered a good variety and excellent value for money. We will definitely return. Thankyou

Lovely free gin with cucumber - great mood and occasion enhancer - thanks so much Cote for this treat. Lamb and steak great - all presented beautifully and tasted great. House red always a joy. Crepes with grand marnier looked great and a flaming spectacle - but cold!!! Despite the flames! Who wants cold pancakes? Only jarring note in otherwise fab meal...

Enjoy visiting Cote in Oxford but do believe they should look into introducing sound absorbing materials because noise level is very high. Another point is I believe the Optional Gratuity should be 10%, not 12.5% when you consider it also applies to the increased cost of wine which is not part of the customers service experience.

Always a lovely meal at Cote. We had a table need some people that were being very loud, otherwise, it was excellent. The coupe noir ice cream had melted a bit and was therefore softer than usual not making the normally lovely contrast between the ice cream and the hot sauce.

Meal was lovely but service very slow so we were unable to have dessert as we were due at the theatre for a show. We were charged for the desserts so we were then late for the show whilst this was sorted.

On an occasion for celebration Cote made made our day. From arrival until we left Cote made us feel special. Thanks to all the staff that made this possible.

Very enjoyable experience, staff very attentive and knowledgeable , good value for money pork Belly was cooked to perfection and my wife had the Halibut that was served puy lentils and well cooked vegetables all excellent.
