Côte Oxford

The staff are always very professional and the food is consistently good. Have eaten at Cote in excess of 30 times and only ever had one bad meal, a very overcooked pork belly in the Bluewater restaurant in Kent. Other than that, it has been ten out of ten every time.

Really delicious food, great atmosphere and impeccable service. We were thoroughly spoilt celebrating our sons 15th Birthday. Very friendly and attentive staff could not have asked for a better service.

Could have done without two ladies who had piercing voices giving the whole room their life story and whether they would run out of money. Not the Restaurants fault, but irritating.

Oxford cote was having problems with its gas supply when we arrived for Sunday lunch. The manager explained that there might be a delay but we accepted this and settled at our table. Within a few minutes bread and olives arrived “on the house”. A nice gesture which made the wait seem not long at all. Thank you oxford cote.

The food was delicious and the service was great. All staff were very attentive and were happy to mix us an espresso martini which was just devine.

Pleasant ambiance. Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonable value meals. Nothing fancy, nothing gourmet - just fair value, IF you get hold of one of their offers.

The usual five star welcome from both the Manager and Hector - our waiter was excellent - sorry did not get this name. The new menu looks top class- the Monkfish and the Veal along with the Fish Pie got top marks Thank you Cote- we will be back soon

Cote was recommended to me by friends. What a wonderful find. Our three course meal was excellent. Each course delicious. The creme caremel being out of this world. Our request for a quiet yet well lit area of the restaurant was clearly taken on board. The waiter was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The complimentary blood orange martini cocktail was delicious. We had a super time celebrating my mother’s 82nd birthday.

Our third time at a Côte, every time good service, good food and good atmosphere, we will be back again soon, consistency and their well trained staff is their advantage.

Cote Brasserie offers quality and service that is to be commended and certainly outshines many other restaurant establishments. Would also recommend to friends and family.

The food was great and the service was good too. I just wish you would not add the 12.5% on the bill although it is optional. Let me tip what i want.

Very nice food, very nice complementary cocktails, a different table found for us when requested, very good gluten free options available, understanding (of gluten free needs) waiter, food arrived promptly (pre-theatre dinner). All good

The starters were OK, just mediocre, the risotto which we have had many times before was highly peppered and had clumps of rice rather than individual grains. Perhaps a new chef? the staff were apologetic and gave us free coffee's. Coffee and dessert was fine, on the other hand not much to go wrong with ice cream! The staff were attentive and concerned about our less than perfect meal.

The waitress was very knowledgeable and gave good advice about the menu and wine to accompany the meal choices. The Gluten Free menu was extensive with plenty of choice. The whole experience was very enjoyable.

What a wonderful place to meet up with a friend you haven’t seen in years. The staff were friendly, and patient as we took ages to order as we reminisced. The food was excellent. Highly recommend. Will say, glad I booked!

The staff was nice, but waiting times between ordering and courses were way too long. One of the waiters spilled some food on my dad's jacket. He apologized, but normally restaurants give you something in return, free dessert or similar to apologise, nothing. I booked our table beforehand on the website and mentioned, that it will be my mums birthday. I am used that restaurants treat you a little bit special on these days, but again nothing like that happened. These points are what makes the difference to choose the restaurant over another one. As the food for us was nice, but nothing special, I'd rather not recommend this restaurant when someone was asking . We had a nice evening at the Cote Brasserie, but mainly because we were on holidays and therefore relaxed. There is still some room for improvement especially regarding customer service.

I went with 4 members of my family, we were met with friendly staff. Great friendly service and amazing food, lovely atmosphere. We come here in often and will keep coming for a long time.

Delightful welcome from the staff and the evening began very well., Our food however took ages to arrive and we began to become very anxious about being late for the theatre. It took almost an hour for the first course to arrive, the food was very good although we had no time for dessert or coffee and the experience was spoilt by the stress of waiting for the food.

My son and I have a severe dairy allergy. The staff were brilliant and double checked all the ingredients and the food was delicious. We had a great evening.

I always like eating at Cote - all over the country - but I know Oxford (where I go most regularly) is the best! Why? because of the quality of the service! You can work out our server, because I was at table 17 set for two at 1.00 today Monday 6th May. He was superb: helpful, efficient, humorous. The food was good, of course, and exceptionally good value. And the Saumur is terrific. Please pass this on, Richard Smail

As always, fantastic breakfast. We’ve been going to Cotê for years and have always enjoyed their breakfast.

Very busy but good as ever. Always a warm and friendly welcome and the food is consistently reliable. We were very politely asked by the manager to move to a different table so that he could accommodate a larger party and we were very pleasantly surprised to find that we had not been charged for our bottle of wine! Thank you very much.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Cote. They had a promotion offering a free Rhubarb martini, it really was delicious! The staff were attentive, the food was delicious, especially the goats cheese starter. Our main chicken course was very good, however for me I much prefer the seafood linguine which I had on a previous visit. A great restaurant for a meal.
