Excellent Meal well prepared and presented by very good staff.

We are always warmly welcomed with a smile. Free cocktails then a delicious dinner - the monkfish and the salmon were cooked to perfection. We always have Creme brûlée for dessert, the best we’ve ever tasted, and the coffee is excellent. We’ll be back!

Enjoyed a great evening meal as usual and must say thank you for really good service service . Was at restaurant early evening so noise levels were ok .... can be quite noisey when restaurant is as tables are too close

Excellent service, good food menu, acceptable wine, rather noisy and crammed in, convenient for the theatre. It is quite posible that I will visit this branch again.

Very good food, excellent value, good service, good atmosphere. A very enjoyable evening with a delightful complimentary cocktail. The salmon main course was particularly good for someone on a diet and the mussels were much enjoyed.

Lovely restaurant and great staff. Unfortunately this is the second time I have eaten here and had gristle through my steak. Staff bent over backwards to help so customer service superb however I did not wish to have a replacement as I would not have eaten it all. Disappointedas was there to celebrate a birthday

The usual five star welcome from both the Manager and Hector - our waiter was excellent - sorry did not get this name. The new menu looks top class- the Monkfish and the Veal along with the Fish Pie got top marks Thank you Cote- we will be back soon

A well thought-out menu, with several novel items. Great food that looks so good on the plate as well as tasting superb. Service was both charming and efficient.

This was our third visit to you, this time we brought friends as we’ve been so impressed with the menu and food quality. Unfortunately last night the following issues occurred: -Constant smell of egg (we were sitting by the olive serving station- I’m Not sure if this is the cause?) - waiting 15 mins to be offered a drink - we had pre booked but had a chair added to a table laid for 3, this meant my husband was constantly being knocked by serving staff as they walked past - my mussel dish was warm not hot and they were minuscule no ‘meat’ to them - the creme brûlée (which I’ve had twice before) wasn’t right. The creme didn’t have any sweetness to is, it tasked like set vanilla Cream- very bland. If you’ve changed your recipe, I would suggest reverting to the original recipe. - also a very roudy group of lads who were very loud with multiple rounds of happy birthday! Obviously not your fault but a gentle reminder to be considerate of other guests would have been welcomed. Positives- -The King prawn starter was lovely, - You kept us topped up with water - The sparkling wine was great - the steaks were very well cooked -the staff were all very friendly

We went to the oxford cote brassiere after seeing a show at the new theatre the atmosphere was great, the food was ok not the best filler steak was the worst I’ve ever had I didn’t send it back as I was hungry and just wanted to eat. The creme brûlée was watery not firm at all and the crunchy top was really thin and for the price it was small. Some of my party were happy with their food but some of us were very disappointed. We also felt extremely rushed which we didn’t want we would of liked to have taken our time but all felt that this wasn’t the case. Service charge is added on which we paid but didn’t really want to my Mum paid it to stop the beautiful day we’d had being any more ruined by this I would of argued it but my Mum wanted to keep the peace!!! The staff seemed rushed off their feet and not attentive as you would expect staff to be shame I had high expectations and sad to say we won’t be back.

Once again an excellent meal as always and the staff are always very polite and pleasant.

Very busy and noisy on Saturday at 5pm. Crowded, Staff. Helpful. Burgher dry, as were potatoes, little sauce. Not a lot of flavour in escalope de veau. Supposed to be lemon, but no sign of it. Overall, not awfully thrilling.

Once again a very enjoyable and excellent meal, with good service and ambiance. Ideal for a meal before going to the theatre nearby.

Nice choice of food, well prepared and friendly staff. Great location in the centre of Oxford. The tables were a little close together, making it a little noisy but I'm sure that added to the atmosphere. The service of our waiter was excellent. The cost, although not over priced was a little more than I was expecting. Overall, a good experience that I would be happy to repeat.

The service was very good food was excellent, very good value for money and you were able to alter the dishes to our tastes. I think your toilets need updating

Staff were excellent but the quality of meat used for the steak frites left a lot to be desired. You appear to be using different/ cheaper cut of beef for the steaks than you used to and on my last two visits it has been very chewy.

We could not have had nicer, more personal and efficient service. Although there are many places to eat in Oxford we would definitely return to Cote for its convenient location, warm welcome and reliably good food.

It was really great … the seating arrangement for five ladies, the food and the friendly service. We'll definitely come again. Us ladies may have been a bit noisy though .. sorry!

The evening didn’t start off too well. The table we booked wasn’t ready and we waited 30 minutes to be seated. The staff offered us Kir Royale as compensation which was very nice. However then our Hors D’oeuvres arrived at the end of our starters and my son had an issue with his starter not only once but twice. We persevered and so did the staff with us who were attentive and managed the whole situation so well that despite them voluntarily removing the service charge we felt compelled to add it back in. Overall we had a great night and thank you to all the staff at the restaurant. We would certainly return in the future.

We were promptly seated with menu’s and brought out water. The food was good as usual and the service attentive.

Walked in seeing different people and wounderd if it was going be a disaster, How wrong could I be. Food was absolutely amazing better than before bye far. If you have not tried this restaurant you must , Thanks to all the staff and chef loved it.

My friend and I meet her for lunch at regular intervals. The staff were very accommodating, leaving us to enjoy our lengthy chats. The complimentary cocktail was delicious and the quality of the food was excellent

I love eating at Côte. I was on a work trip and so was dining alone, and I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. I usually prefer to eat at independent restaurants - but Côte is by far the best chain to eat at and is quickly becoming my go-to!

The food was good as usual but the lady who was the greeter was a bit off, certainly not the happiest or friendliest person I have ever met, considering it was her job to meet and greet she did not leave a good impression! She almost had a surly tone! When we left she didn’t even bother saying goodbye! Our waitress was fine. Shame as we use cote quite regularly when we pop into oxford, there are plenty of other places with good food so won’t be rushing back! Disappointing! Maybe she needs a customer service training day to remind her what her job is!!
