Côte Oxford

The staff are always very professional and the food is consistently good. Have eaten at Cote in excess of 30 times and only ever had one bad meal, a very overcooked pork belly in the Bluewater restaurant in Kent. Other than that, it has been ten out of ten every time.

Early family get together for Farther’s Day. Enjoyable evening with good food and service.

The food was delicious and the service was great. All staff were very attentive and were happy to mix us an espresso martini which was just devine.

It was nice. Not a very attractive location but inside it ok. Nice steak and good quals chicken. Clean loos and convivial atmosphere as well.

The usual five star welcome from both the Manager and Hector - our waiter was excellent - sorry did not get this name. The new menu looks top class- the Monkfish and the Veal along with the Fish Pie got top marks Thank you Cote- we will be back soon

Are meals were excellent and service was good very pleasant evening my only criticism wouldbe a little more room around the tables as a little cramped

Fantastic as always from start to finish, felt thoroughly spoilt on our Anniversary Celebration, starting with a glass of champagne and finishing with a free bottle of wine, well done Cotes.

Fantastic food, drink and service, very quick as well and great value for money with the lunch/early dinner offer. Portions just right, not too big nor too small.

Our request for a quiet yet well lit area of the restaurant was clearly taken on board. The waiter was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The complimentary blood orange martini cocktail was delicious. We had a super time celebrating my mother’s 82nd birthday.

In an area of Oxford abounding with restaurants, Cote stands out from the rest. Its excitingly French menu is filled with the most tempting of dishes. Its atmosphere is inviting but pleasantly calm. Its staff are friendly, welcoming and charmingly helpful. Formidable!

Brilliant steak. My father massively enjoyed the fish stew too and as I put it was my birthday when booking the table, we all received an apertif which was very nice. Service was perfect and overall a good birthday dinner.

Excellent service, good food menu, acceptable wine, rather noisy and crammed in, convenient for the theatre. It is quite posible that I will visit this branch again.

Fab lunch - great food and great service all at a reasonable price. We ate from the lunchtime specials. The chicken was superb and the steak was great, too.

Not as good a general experience as at several other Cotes around the country. Starters were not served together - I had to go and ask for my partner's starter after a 5 minute wait! My asparagus starter was on a cold plate, as was my duck. The fish goujon and chips were good. Glasses of wine good. Coffee was excellent - quite unusual for quality anywhere. Price was reasonable considering central Oxford. Excellent branches visited are at Tunbridge Wells and Farnham.

Our waiter was brilliant. Handled an incredibly rude customer well and then didn't let it affect his service to us. Cannot rate the staff enough! The food was delicious. 100% will be coming back soon! Thank you!
