Although the food was good, the service Thursday lunchtime was very slow. This is unusual and the front of house staff seemed to be working hard. Was there a problem in the kitchen?

Restaurant was very good and we are regulars. Quandoo did not help by sending an e mail at 6pm indicating our reservation at 10pm had been cancelled by the restaurant. I called the manager and that was not the case. Very inconvenient and no explanation or apology yet from Quandoo.

Great restaurant. Made to welcome and the service was prompt and patient while we all made up our mind. The food was enjoyed by all of us including the two children. The bill was reasonable considering the quality and quantity we consumed? Thoroughly recommend Cotes of Oxford.

Staff were very friendly and the service was prompt, the only reason they didn't get full marks was because the food wasn't quite as hot as it should have been.

On a busy Mothers Day lunch Cote Oxford provided an excellent service. We chose from the Sunday menu and the chicken was served with green beans and potatoes. An enjoyable occasion.

Big fan of this restaurant but felt disappointed with the goats cheese salad ...especially the presentation ..did not like the large glass bowl to much lettuce only one round of goats cheese which seemed swamped by all the other stuff ..would have been better seved on a flatter dish witk rocket and leaf salad maybe beetroot ???? Other dishes were superb and the service was excellent ..thank you

Usually very good at Cote, but they forgot to put sugar in the crème brulee mixture, so it tasted very bland. They were good enough to remove that dessert from the bill.

Good food as usual. Responsive to our timing for the theatre, but a bit of a rush at the end. Well placed for theatre and George Street, Oxford.

We went late on Mother's Day when you could expect the staff to be tired and grumpy. They weren't. Excellent meal, great service and a nice atmosphere. Thank you, we will return.

Rather crowded restaurant! 2 steaks we ordered were rather overdone . Very busy today but Côte usually spit on with food and service . A bit disappointing.

We used the website tool to book a table in advance. On arrival we received prompt service from friendly staff. The seafood linguine and moules starters are recommended. The Set menu offers good value.

We had such a lovely lunch, I had asked the guys to leave a little personal message on a card for my friend whom I invited for lunch. They did more than that, flowers were waiting at our table, what a lovely gesture, we had the best day and I would like to thank the Team for a great service with such a personal touch...100% kate x

we arrived early. place was very busy. lots dirty tables so seemed understaffed. bad layout. no where to stand at entrance and food being brought out right past people standing at the door - not hygienic. Friendly manager and waitress. Food was ok - chicken and walnut salad lacked beans and walnuts Desserts were poor. Had never been before and really wouldn't go again. Work dinner for 6. No atmosphere. Tables too close - beside us was table of 2 and they may as well have been part of our group as they were so close.

Helpful, efficient staff. Great choice of authentic French food at moderate prices. Much calmer, classier atmosphere than most of George St., but it gets very full - make sure you book!

Lunch in Amersham was preferable to the Brunch. Strange Eggs Royal, very little smoked salmon and too much Hollandaise sauce. Service was very good, friendly and efficient.

We have been to Cote Brasserie on several occasions and have always received excellent service and fine food. The staff are very attentive without being over-bearing and the atmosphere, without background music, is enjoyable. Excellent Gluten-free menu for those who need it for health reasons. Will definitely book a return visit.

Warm welcoming atmosphere with an excellent menu. The French onion soup is wonderful. Thoroughly recommend the March specials of steak au poivre and grilled swordfish with tarte tatin to finish.
