I would have given 6 only for the difficulties actually manoeuvring my mother's wheelchair into the restaurant and the fact that when we were leaving no-one came to help us. In fact, an incoming customer rushed to our aid. Once we were settled at our table though I could not fault the service. The staff we came into contact with were courteous and friendly.

Choice of menu was excellent. Service of the staff again was excellent, but our visit was spoilt by a very loud table of young ladies celebrating a birthday. Total lack of control by management. In my opinion this spoilt the evening of many diners.

The food was amazing, but the service is a little slow. It has a child's menu but it isn't the most child friendly for what I would say with children under the age of 5

Excellent meal with good service. We asked for a table move as it was very busy where we were and staff had no hesitation in moving us to a quieter spot

A very relaxing, extremely good value 3-course lunch. The food was wonderful and the service excellent - we will definitely be returning to Cote Brasserie.

Waitress split the Cork in the wine bottle - it was the last bottle so we had to have a cheaper alternative. Forgot a portion of chips. The breaded veal was soggy. We have had better experiences there!!!!!

Normally my favourite but after being shown to a table we had to move as this one was reserved. We then received cold fries and undercooked chicken. We were given a discount but it wasn't the best evening. Our waiter was very good but had to keep interrupting taking our order to give other tables their food! Atmosphere was killed.

We had good service with a very conducive atmosphere. The Food was very good and well presented. All in all a very enjoyable evening. Not sure about the 12.5% "optional " addition though, a bit presumptive.

I found the service to be very attentive but not too intrusive. I have never had a bad meal and would highly recommend the pork belly. On this occasion we were sat upstairs which has a much more relaxed and quiet atmosphere, also suitable for larger groups.

Very enjoyable good quality food. Good value for money, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Main courses of lamb shank, duck breast, and pork belly were particularly good.

I orders the fillet steak meadum rear the steak was cold in the middle so my wife returns it the next steak came out warmer but more rare then meadum the sauce was cold as well

Food is nice. However we ordered pissadiere to start but our mains arrived whilst eating it. When asked to take them back until we had finished had a bit of a frosty response and were told it was an appetiser not a starter. We never wanted to eat then at the same time I would have thought was obvious

As always the food was excellent. The service was good, and prices are very reasonable. Our friends were also very impressed and will be returning very soon.

Had a lovely meal at Cote with the wife. I rate it the best restaurant in Peterborough. Service a little slow tonight but the fish soup, confit duck and my wife's swordfish dish were excellent, as usual.

We went there with my friend and we ordered dishes we haven't tried before for starter and main and they were delicious and well presented. We loved the creme caramel as well. Service was excellent. Very pleased :)

Food very nice, lovely and hot,. Had soup and then chicken, good but chicken leg was quite small. Staff friendly, just a little to sometimes get their attention.

The service was first class. My wife ordered a meal and on tasting it, did not like it, the staff with no hesitation changed it for another dish, which my wife thoroughly enjoyed.

A bit on the expensive side, but the food is fantastic and the service excellent. So it should be, mind – just be aware that they add 12.5 per cent service charge to your bill.

Cote is my favourite restaurant which is why it was the only choice for my birthday celebrations.Consistency of great food, service, wine choice, staff and atmosphere is what makes it unique. Food is always top notch, staff are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble.

I booked a table for lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday this week and arranged for two very dear friends to join us as a surprise. I spoke to the manager a couple of days before and explained this to her while also arranging for a bottle of bubbles to be waiting at the table. Nothing was too much trouble and the front of house manager went along with the whole thing on the day - very much adding to our enjoyment. To summarise: Cote Brasserie in Peterborough is simply excellent - really delicious food, excellent service and staff and a delightful atmosphere. Highly recommended

I joined 2 friends for dinner and enjoyed the rib eye for my main course. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. I had a creme caramel for the first time. I have not tried a dessert wine and was introduced by Tim the manager, I was delighted and will no doubt have another in future.

We really enjoyed our meal for my husbands birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. It is our favourite restaurant and we will definitely be returning.

Staff very attentive, I always think a great restaurant is where the is wine poured without having to ask.The staff were friendly yet professional. Food tasted superb, although could have been hotter!!! Overall well worth a visit.
