Great atmosphere along with my guests. Food quality and test was awesome. Definitively will come back for our next gathering.

Lovely food, well looked after. A bit slow to get a coffee so moved straight to the bill but I understand, it was really busy!

Four of us ate at Côte in Reading yesterday evening, 28th February, we were there to celebrate two birthdays. I had said this was the main purpose of the evening when I booked the table. We had the most wonderful evening, absolutely nothing was too much trouble for the lovely lady manager and the wonderfully kind lady who looked after us at our table. Complimentary kir royals for the birthday toast and attentive but not intrusive service. The food was absolutely delicious, as it always is, the wine was chilled to perfection, all in all the perfect evening and the perfect place to celebrate two birthdays, thank you Côte!!

They went over and above our expectations to make our anniversary special and it was much appreciated.

Once again another excellent time had by me and my daughter at Cote celebrating her birthday. Food, staff and atmosphere were brilliant. The whole restaurant was bubbling with happy customers.

I had the fancy chicken and chips with the tomato and olive sauce. It was nice. The chicken was cooked well and the chips were nice. But I wasn’t overly impressed by it. The Sauvignon blanc was tasty and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The whole ambiance of the place was nice. It was busy for a Thursday night (so must be good). I was put in the centre aisle and felt a little exposed there. People were stood round us chatting and the waiting staff often had to squeeze by. Food was served quite quickly. The caramelised onion flat bread was nice with a touch of goats cheese. Price actually wasn’t too unreasonable. Would I dine here again? Yes. I liked it

Great food, great atmosphere as usual, service superb. I do think you need to be careful when booking on line if you're angling for the complementary wine or cocktail as we found the Rhubarb Martinis on our bill as I'd apparently not clicked the right buttons - really? They were taken off but it tainted the effect of the evening - shame.

Great restaurant and fantastic staff. Food is always good and never have to wait long. This is my favourite chain restaurant, breakfast is really good here too.

Excellent meal, great service as always at this riverside restaurant in Reading. The Monkfish wrapped in bacon and a gorgeous Sirloin steak were our mains, I can highly recommend the monkfish, delicious, followed by the chocolate fondant and my favourite, Creme Caramel... Wonderful food at a reasonable price.

An amazing quick lunch with friends. I had a salad with bacon, croutons and a poached egg on top followed by a squash cake sitting on a delicious sauce accompanied by spinach and again a perfectly poached egg on top. All washed down with a glass of white Lagarde wine with an Americano to finish. Loved it!

Always love coming and the food didn’t disappoint. Very good value for money, especially for the quality of food. One of the best restaurant chains I’ve been to. However our waitress was a little cold and not very friendly, this wasn’t helped by her lack of English. Also there were a few flies buzzing around.

Very good experience just finished our exams so decided to go to our favorite place! Too bad Cote doesnt do student discounts tho :(

We had a lovely meal well presented and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the meal was provided in good time for us. The only reason for not awarding 6 stars was that our table (for 4 people) was in the middle of the restaurant with restricted room for people to pass on either side. Consequently the chair of one of our party was knocked several times by staff and other customers. I think the centre round tables would be better suited to couples and groups of 4 should be seated at rectangular tables.

As usual, a very pleasant lunch at Côte. My wife and I had our usual choices, both very enjoyable. And we enjoyed the freebie G&T too. Will be back soon, no doubt.

Helpful attentive staff...clean surroundings....,good atmosphere.....most of all good food especially the mussels! All served pretty quickly.Overall everything is pretty good. Now for the negatives.....Twice I have had vouchers for drinks Via SAGA which were supposed to be downloaded when I booked on line from their site and show on my booking. Both times it had not registered on the booking....I had to find all the details on my phone which was really embarrasing and made me feel uncomfortable.... I was cross about that but it wasnt the waiters fault ...please get that sorted. I do think the bread is very expensive for what you get....a big extra if you want some with mussels... and the water on the table is always warm ....every time I have to ask for ice which is usually brought straight away .... these are the reasons I only gave 5 stars There are two or three good really restaurants in the Oracle and despite my negatives this is one of them.

Food was nicely presented and lovely however service was not fully attentive. We had to replenish our wine glasses and wave to get attention. The atmosphere was good.

Good atmosphere, quality food at reasonable prices. Good service. Only minor criticism could do with slightly larger table, bit if a squeeze for four people.

We have always felt that Cote is a nice pace to eat, it’s kids friendly and it’s alwags busy and the staff have always been hands on. Every time we have been they always remember us and have always asked how we are and the meal as always been delightful. It’s good value for money and the place has a great atmosphere. We don’t come all the time but when we do we make it special and enjoy every minute we are there.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The menu has a very good range of dishes. One of our group is a vegetarian and was very impressed with the vegetarian menu as it gave a lot of choice compared to other restaurants. The service was excellent and the food very well cooked and presented. We enjoyed a nice relaxing meal.

Cote is a lovely restaurant with a very warm and cosy ambiance. The staff are always welcoming and friendly; they go out of their way to ensure everything is just as you want it. The food is consistently excellent and great value for money. The fillet steak is a real treat!

We had a really nice evening at Côte Brassiere, lovely food, varied menu (including vegetarian choices) and good customer service, looking forward to visiting again soon!

Food was fabulous as was the service. The only issue was how tightly everyone was crammed in (we were almost touching the tables either side of us) - probably not the best idea in the current climate!

Wonderful, tasty food in a welcoming and friendly environment. It helped to make my birthday a bit more special. The Prestige menu was excellent value.

As a group of 6 we lunch at Reading Cote about every 6 months. we enjoy the food but find that the red wine choice is a bit limited, For instance it would be nice to have a Primitivo on the list.

Very much enjoyed an early evening visit. Sadly a little quiet - perhaps due to the Coronavirus issue - which is a pity because the food & service were excellent. Took advantage of both the March Specials & the Prestige Set Menu which provided both variety and value. Have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and will certainly be returning.
