The whole experience was brilliant and all 3 of us felt the same will definetly go again

Very welcoming and friendly. Good a la carte menu choice and monthly Specials are back. Food excellent and service great. Felt safe there.

Been to the Côte in Reading multiple times and it is an incredible experience every time, food is amazing, staff are polite, attentive and friendly. I will be returning.

The service was not as good as before. We were not asked if we enjoyed our meal . We had to ask for the Ala Carte menu and it felt like an inconvenience. When the starter of Calamari came out it was cold and the Pork Belly was served with hard potatoes and soggy pork not the normal We went to the restaurant at 12.30 I think the staff were more interested in serving breakfast and brunch . It was a shame because we really like Cote and have eaten in Bath Exeter Canterbury and Kingston and Reading many times but this time was not anywhere near the usual standard . Also the toilets were not very clean .i appreciate the restaurant was busy but the standards should not slip in regards to cleanliness especially in these times.When you spend over £100 on lunch I don’t think it is unreasonable to get a good level of service

Meal and atmosphere was very good very comfortable seating and friendly staff the only issue I noticed to late was the £25 pound service charge which for me was a little exssive but everything else was high standard

Great meal, ambience in the restaurant was just right and the staff were spot on with the service. We all know Cote is a chain, and that’s fine, but somehow the Reading restaurant just feels like a family run business that cares about you as a customer and everything has to be right for your meal.

Absolutely delicious menu. Chateaubriand was fabulous. Mood was cosy and buzzy.

Always enjoy a Cotes so glad your back open .. food was excellent as always we both enjoyed it. Staff good social distancing especially and a good atmosphere considering the circumstances.. thanks hope to visit again soon

Angjelos was a lovely well presented waiter who made sure we had a pleasant dining experience! Nothing was too much for him and he made an excellent Dubonnet aux Figues and even checked back to hear my views on the new monthly cocktail. A pleasure to have on the team. Thankyou so much.

Would have given it more stars but we were appalled at the lack of ‘covid 19’ awareness. The restaurant appeared to be exactly as it was before lockdown! Tables are not 2 metres apart and all tables were filled. Menus were taken from the customers, not wiped, thrown on the bar and then given to the next diners. When diners left the Cloth was used to wipe the table, the same cloth rubbed food off the seat, no disinfectant was sprayed. The cloth then got thrown on the bar and was used to wipe the bar top. Not at any point was the cloth rinsed or any santiser used. We were shocked given the times we are in and expected more from Cote. The food was tasty and the waiter himself excellent. Let down by cleanliness.

Felt safe as all staff wore masks and food was excellent and very much enjoyed the free cocktail as part of the October promotion but unfortunately waited over 45 mins for main dish though starter came quick, due to this me and my friend were compensated for late main dish arrival which I was happy with

Very nice experience, I was celebrating my 30th birthday and enjoyed the hospitality of everyone. Unfortunate I couldn't put up decorations or have candles on the cake but covid is making it hard for everyone. Thanks for delicious food and a great atmosphere.

Great service, good choice of food, it arrived promptly and very hot. Far outweighed our last visit to The Ivy in our home town Guildford We will return to Cote in the near future..

Lovely place for a great meal with family. Fab service and comfortable surrounds.

It was a really tasty meal and the staff were so friendly and they knew it was my husband's birthday and they gave us an unexpected free dessert with happy birthday written on the plate with chocolate. There were very few customers in the restaurant but despite that it had a great ambience. We had a really great night out.
