Côte Worcester

4 friends and I enjoyed a pre-Christmas meal at Cote Worcester on the evening of 11 December 2018. We all agreed that the food was beautifully prepared, expertly served and most well received. The waitresses and waiters were helpful, kind and most courteous. We enjoyed the experience so much that it will be our choice of restaurant for our future gatherings in Worcester. Thank you !

When deciding to eat out in Worcester it’s getting more difficult to choose a restaurant these days because there are so many good places around, but for a good all round excellent experience then it’s got to be Cote.

Lovely atmosphere, helpful staff especially Henry, super food and wine. All at very sensible prices. I'm not one for chains, but this one has got it right! A little piece of France in Worcester!

Excellent for breakfast. Varied menu....would recommend the French Breakfast” with the boudin noir which is the sweet black pudding and delicious. Quality ingredients. Friendly, professional staff. Superb.

food was of good quality but still the old chestnut of having to pay for bread when bread is always free of charge in French restaurants

We were a party of 4 who had pre-booked and chosen our meals. All four of us had different mains and desserts and absolutely everything was fantastic - I've personally never had a poor meal at Cote, the food is consistently excellent and it's a nice atmosphere. Everyone in our party also enjoyed a complimentary Kir Royale courtesy of a voucher on the back of my NCP parking ticket! Special mention also the Manager, Emma, who is incredibly helpful - she is an asset to Cote!

Usual warm friendly welcome...table in window as requested. Enjoyed excellent tasty chicken dish...very generous portions followed by succulent apple tart. Vibrant atmosphere without being too O.T.T.

Have been to Cote Worcester many times. It is consistently an excellent experience. Staff are friendly and attentive and the food is to a high standard. Very relaxed atmosphere.

The food was of the usual good quality but the service was extremely slow 3 hours for a two course meal. The restaurant manager recognised the problem and made a generous gesture, not only removing the service charge but not charging for a bottle of wine. Good job we were not in a hurry.

the whole experience was very pleasant. The service was very quick and very tasty, the steak was cooked exactly as ordered. The waiters were very attentive.

Great meal as usual. The staff were friendly and quick, the restaurant was nice & warm too. My minute steak was delicious, and the waiter swapped the salad for a few French beans for me.

An absolute splendid evening and a brilliant way to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. What a surprise: a card and a bottle of champagne waiting at our table. Such a lovely thoughtful gesture. As for the meal itself beautiful. Well prepared well served and tastefully enjoyed by all especially my wife’s duck breast. The sea bream shall not go unmentioned: excellent. A meal to remember. Thank you so much for making it so.

Went on a Monday evening. Pleasant staff and pleasant ambiance. Varied menu and generous portions. Good value set menu. Food quite nice, maybe not quite as nice as usual.

Always fabulous great service great food great location lovely atmosphere

Lovely meal, very pleasant staff and atmosphere. We all had the value two course menu. The chicken was tender and the vegetables very tasty, all served with a delicious sauce. The creme caramel, one of my favourite desserts, was beautiful.

This is our favourite eating place in Worcester, we've been for breakfast on many occasions also had lunch there, and we've eaten there during the evening. Always found the entire staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Never had cause to complain. Strongly recommend it.

My husband and I had another thoroughly enjoyable meal at Cote Worcester. The menu and food was excellent as was the service it was both friendly and professional.

Very good But I had beef bourguigran there was far to many mushrooms in it and the beef was very tuff But the rest of the family were happy

Excellent meal with great service, will definitely return. Moules mariniere were delicious followed by steak frites and the creme caramel is the best we’ve ever had.

As always I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Côte, good quality, authentic French food at a reasonable price. My only quibble: if ordering the French onion soup and are not a vegetarian, then insist on the regular version made with beef stock as it is much tastier. The veggie version is good but recognisably different in taste having experienced it at several other Côtes and also in Worcester a number of times.

Nice food but bread should be offered free of charge if they want to create a true image of French cuisine where bread is considered an essential part of a meal.

On our latest visit to this restaurant we used the smart offer and enjoyed a really excellent lunch both having the chicken from the prestige menu together with a very nice bottle of red merlot. You just cannot beat this establishment.

Had yet another delicious dinner at Cote Worcester this week, very impressed with the way they manage to get it so right every time. Food is fab and staff are charming and attentive. Another great bonus this week was the Swedish choir who sang a few songs for us after their appearance at the cathedral - surprising and magical.

We had a delicious meal in a good atmosphere and with excellent service. There was an extensive menu to choose from. We will certainly go again.

Excellent service and top quality food piping hot. Bern a few times and never been disappointed nice ambience too. Staff were very polite and didn't rush us to order. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

From start to finish the staff were fantastic and the food was amazing. We ate off the set menu and thought that the choice of dishes was just right and the portion sizes were also good.

Once we have enjoyed the Côte marvellous breakfast where everything is cooked and served as requested by a smiling and efficient waiter. For a rainy day it was just perfick!

Service and food were excellent . The restaurant was really buzzing-in fact a little too much for our older party as one young diner in another party had a laugh like a donkey braying . At least she was enjoying herself ! We thought the wine a little overpriced but it was good .

Great food we both enjoyed starter mains and sweet's, we were impressed with the quality. The service was excellent. Nothing to fault. A little pricey but great for a special occasion.

The food is excellent and comes out really quickly at Cote however on each occasion I have been the service is always too slow. After arriving we waited some time for a drinks order that by the time we had to flag a waiter down to serve us we were ready for our food order anyway. It then took some time for the table to be cleared after we finished. They seem to have plenty of servers and people in black uniforms it seems the waiting time is silly. This is one of the restaurants where they automatically add an optional 12.5% tip. After asking for specific change to make the tip 10% we were returned with the change after 12.5% tip. Very naughty :-/

We had good food and we were not rushed. The Friday night atmosphere was buzzy but the best bit was being served by an excellent young man called Tom. He was outstanding. Thanks Tom.

Enjoyable lunch. A couple of glitches with the order but food exce)ent, particularly the fish ant the creme caramel. Rather slow but this wasn't a problem for us since we were out for a social occasion.

Good reasonably priced food good service not enough crumble topping on crumble this time but apart from that All very good and all 6 people happy with food and service

Very good welcome and pleasant service for a group of 8 with ages ranging from 11 to 83, everyone enjoyed their meal. Prices not excessive at all for quality food.

We went to celebrate a family birthday and were treated to a complementary glass of Procecco and our son a non alcoholic glass of fizz. All of our meals were delicious and the service was supberb. It was a Thursday evening and the atmosphere was was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
