The Cottage Inn on the outskirts of Fillongley village is about as charming a British country pub as you could wish to find. Along Blackhall Lane, the pub itself dates back to the early 18th century and has a beautiful beer garden surrounded by meadows – a perfect spot for enjoying a cold pint of ale with a view. Then, in terms of food, The Cottage Inn has always had an excellent reputation for serving proper, high-quality pub fare for lunch as well as dinner, and you can expect everything from starters like farmhouse paté or prawn cocktail to mains like slow-cooked lamb shank or a glorious steak and merlot pie. People come from as far as Coventry to enjoy The Cottage Inn, so advanced reservations are recommended if you want to be sure of a table.
Although a large party had just arrived we did not wait long to be served. Table service. Very good value for money 2 and 3 course meals. Scenic setting beer garden garden with countryside views
Had a lovely meal with friend, lovely food, really nice staff. Would definitely recommend 👌
