We enjoyed a superb evening dinner at this delightful hotel. Starting with canapés on the patio with a view out over Lake Windermere, then inside to the pleasant dining room to enjoy a four course meal with coffee and chocolates out on the patio again. Our main course was duo of duck, beautifully cooked and attractively presented. The pear sorbet was delicious and my desert of sticky toffee pud finished off a wonderful meal. Service was first rate. Amazing food. We had the evening meal at £39pp and it was above all expectations. Probably the best meal I've ever eatten. Well worth the money
