Group of 8, really great food, atmosphere and service. We had loads of food and drinks and it came to about £30pp which is very good. We arrived 8:30pm when restaurant was quiet, about half an hour later the place was very busy in both the restaurant and pub side - added to the atmosphere. A lovely Thursday evening :)

The service was a bit lacking as they seemed to be concentrating on two large party tables . Rushed us through our meal , we were finished , two courses in 1.25 hours . Food was fine but not as previously enjoyed

I have eaten at Maroush many times and the food is excellent however I would advise staying away from the set menu which is what we (party of four0 did on this occasion. Whilst the starters are ample it falls short on the main course and dessert. Much better value to order a la carte.

Website described Sunday Roasts but these are now off the menu. Now only Lebanese food. Main courses were awful. Visit saved by charming staff. Def

Food was tasty but the service painfully slow. We waited for 15 minutes before our order was taken despite trying to attract the waiters numerous times. Finally they took our order but our drinks never came out despite asking for them twice. we decided not to order anymore drinks or a desert because we knew it was frustrate us even more and leave us waiting another 45 minutes for them to arrive. Luckily there was no service charge on the bill otherwise I would have refused to pay it. Its a shame that poor service ultimately costs the restaurant money because people like us can't wait to pay the bill and leave. The restaurant is expensive and I expect a high level service for the price. Management need to make some serious improvements. It feels as if all the money was spent on the refurb of the pub and nothing on training the staff.

Something seriously wrong yesterday! Service just wasn't there. We spent 2.75 hours just to get 2 courses! Other customers walked out. I guess it was staff shortage in the kitchen but no explanation given and no comfort from the waiters. There was a suggestion from another customer that too many take away orders were being prepared.

Excellent cooking and charming staff. A big family meal near us two was rather overwhelming. But at least they were all happy - as we were.

Great service, the mixed grill is fantastic as was the Bekaa Valley Rose. Lebanese at its best. And in such amazing surroundings they must have spent millions to make it this special. Love the outside tables as well.

Great food with an array of choice. Excellent service as everyone was very helpful and knew the menu and the dinning room setting added to the evening.

The Excellent food and service was enjoyed in a noteworthy environment. Only downside was that bouncers on door seemed intimidating and unnecessary to us actually

Great food nicely presented and very friendly staff. Food could have been served hotter especially if they had used hot plates. Phenomenally beautiful rooms in amazing romantic and elegant surrounds -- just a beautiful place - definite MUST try especially for special occasions!

We loved the food - could not fault it. Fabulous service. And a quiet and comfortable location. Only thing we did not like was paper napkins which blew around outside. They have linen ones inside the restaurant so not sure why they would not outside. But recommended.
