Crumb oozes class. It’s simple, it doesn’t try too hard, but the internationally-inspired food it serves, and indeed the dining space itself, are of exceptional quality. Award-winning burgers are probably Crumb’s main attraction with the giant crumb being the star of the show: double beef steak burger, haggis, chicken crunchies and cheese… Done drooling? Ok, good. Also on Crumb’s menu you’ll find a range of pizzas and pasta options, as well as indulgent desserts and drinks. Crumb’s home is on Saint Michael's Street in Dumfries, just a little south towards Whitesands. It’s a terrific spot, and Dumfries is lucky to have it.
Delicious! Great selection on the menu, however pudds were a little disappointing. Great atmosphere and great music. Very busy on a Saturday night but staff were very attentive. Metal seats a little uncomfortable.
The food was lovely, and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend. I am already planning the next trip as there is so much on the menu I would like to try!
Lovely experience from start to finish, the setting is so lovely, staff so friendly and helpful. Menu is fantastic and definitely has something for everyone, especially with the vegan section. The drinks are gorgeous in particular the cocktails!! Will return for sure!
Another really enjoyable lunch at this little gem. Warm, friendly atmosphere, tasteful decor and amazing burgers. Probably the best value for money restaurant in Dumfries. Make sure you try the blondies!
Really enjoyed our meal at Crumb. Slightly unnerving was the fact that we were the only ones in and they closed straight after we left. It was nice having private dining though! I hope they didn't open especially for us! We had Scallops and Halloumi to start, the Crumb Chicken as a main with a side of Onion Rings and Fries and Tiramisu and Chocolate Ice Cream for dessert. Everything was well cooked and nicely presented. I felt the desserts could have been better presented. It is always my favourite course and like to have a "wow" pudding as the finale. Instead of the usual mint cream with the bill it was Kola Cubes which was nice and different. The staff were friendly and the ambience was warm and welcoming. A nice treat for my Birthday :) Would definitely go again.
Really enjoyed our evening at Crumb! Food and wine were yummy and the service was friendly and efficient. A pleasant atmosphere - stylish and cosy decor. The menu is very varied with a good mix of main course including pasta and pizzas but also lots of interesting fish and meat dishes. A special vegan section too. All four of us enjoyed our main courses and dessert - without exception! Its a little more expensive than other local restaurants but it's so good that it feels like good value for money. If it had a few options for 'happy hour' or menu specials I would probably go back more often but we're more likely to save our trips there for a treat! Highly recommended!
Visited Crumb today for a birthday lunch, very impressed with the entire experience. Lovely decor, friendly attentive staff and a good selection of dishes to choose from. Good value lunch menu available, although we were both tempted by the burgers and went a la carte in the end. Hoping to make a return visit for my husband's birthday in June.
We tried Crumb for the 1st time and I have to say I was impressed. The place was packed as its Christmas night out time, but the food was delicious, reasonably priced and served without delay. The staff were cheery and pleasant. We will definitely be going back.
Crumb has a really nice atmosphere, the staff were really good and the food was amazing. It was really good value for money. Would definitely recommend Crumb!
We had heard great feedback about the food at Crumb so reserved a table quickly and easily online for our 24th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, can't fault it. Service was also very good. We'll definitely be back.
