Booked online and got confirmation and reminder. Turned up at 2pm on the Sunday to find the shutters down and no info available. Very disappointed as then had to find somewhere to eat at short notice in the rain with 2 hungry teenagers. Not the nice treat I’d planned with my children!

The waitress was lovely and very helpful however the wine delivery hadn't turned up so there was none of the wine that we wanted to go with our meal. The sea bass came without the sauce it was supposed to be served with and was dry it also didnt taste very fresh. We didnt stay for dessert. The waitress was on her own and seemed to be apologising to all the customers. It was my 2nd time and I returned after a lovely faultless 1st visit but not to sure if we will be returning again

Avoid the cocktails at all cost! It's good, but the prices show you're in a cheap restaurant, and don't expect the service to make up for it. You get what you pay for

Good value lunch. Service was fine too. Starters we’re the best course; fried calamari and a dish of chicken & mushroom - very good. The pizzas we’re a bit too wet but not so bad as to complain. Would visit again for their good value lunch deal.

We walked in with 1 extra person. This was a lunch for 7 to celebrate the recent retirements of two colleagues. We had a very attentive and charming waiter. Our food came fast and just as we had ordered. The food was good, nicely presented and appropriately proportioned. It wasn’t fine dining, but was tasty. The restaurant was a pleasant place to be. We each ate two courses, coffee and a beer or glass of wine for less than £20 each. We had a relaxing lunch over two hours. I would recommend this place to my to anyone.

Incredibly noisy... Had to almost shout to get myself heard... The only negative point about the visit. I'm sure some carpet / soft furnishings would improve it.

Liked h starter but ordered ribs for main came with finch fries on plate no salad or veg sauce was too sweet tasted like from jar could be better sorry! Been before this change of menu thought better before

This is a nice restaurant. When we visited there were a number of large parties but not enough staff. Pre dinner cocktails took ages to arrive as did starters one of which was cold. Food was very tasty once problems were sorted and the waitresses were very pleasant and helpful even though very short staffed. Not enough waiting staff for a Saturday night which spoilt our experience.

Main course haddock very dry. Poor dessert choice, mostly British not Italian dishes. No gelato!

The food is incredible, it was so hard to choose because I wanted everything on the menu. Service was so fast and the waiters were lovely. Really great value, cheap food and wine but great quality.

Disappointed that they don’t have a pre theatre menu! Early menu fixed price ends at 5pm. It is virtually adjacent to Philharmonic Hall! Might encourage a few more punters!!

I can't complain because the food was nice. I had mussels for starters, the sauce was abit weak but the mussels themselves were beaut. I had salmon pasta for mains and it was delicious and a good size portion as well. The drinks were the only let down...we ordered a round of cocktails and they were very weak and not very well put together...basic cocktail tbh. Also, it had on the menu as well as website that there was an offer on and the reason we booked was to avail of this offer as we are all students so we try and be thrifty as possible. To find out the offer had been retracted was disappointing however, despite this, our waitress let us avail of a drinks offer despite the allowed timeframe having past (kind of needed it tho as the drinks were so weak). Overall, good, but don't think I'd return tbh unless I was stuck

Very good service and excellent food. Chose from the fixed price menu which had a huge range. Partner enjoyed the cocktail offer (2 for £7.50). Will return.

First time visit, very impressed. Good food, service and value. The early doors menu is particularly good value, especially as there is a wide selection to choose from.
