The food was superb; the service was not. We had to wait 20 minutes after being seated before seeing a member of staff to take our order. Our drinks came fairly quickly but the food took half an hour. It was worth the wait as it was delicious, however we had to wait a long time before someone cleared our table. We wanted desserts but it was another 20 minutes before anyone came to take that order,s o we had the bill instead. Staff only seemed to come to the restaurant when serving food; if they didn't have to bring anything up they didn't bother. This was a real shame as we liked the food and wanted dessert but were sick and tired of waiting.

We enjoyed good food, but with very slow service which was odd as we were the only ones in the restaurant ! A real shame.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is incredible, quite possibly the best steak ever! :-) and the staff are great. Massive thumbs up, can't wait to go back!

The menu has changed slightly since my last visit to accommodate a wider food audience, but as per usual Cultura has provided an excellent dining experience.

Food was good but very long wait for it and disappointed that we were limited to the Sunday menu ( not aware of this when we booked and very limited vegetarian options) . Chef accomodated our son by cooking spaghetti with a simple tomato sauce but we were charged twelve pounds for it.

Lovely food. Great service. Can't wait for the winter menu! No one lit our candle, which was sad, but that's the worst complaint we have!

Great food. Buzzing atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great service. Would recommend for nights out with friends. Lively bar downstairs. Nice bifolding doors upstairs to let the outside in.

Very sad. We waited 45+ minutes for food. Wrong orders were brought. One dish had a hair in it which manager removed with his hand and then asked if my niece would like the meal back. We will never return. Truly, truly atrocious. Other people just walked out. I wish we had!

Cultura has a lovely relaxed feel to it perfect for a long lunch with a good friend. However the food was ok but lacked wow factor. I had a salmon and pear salad which was bland and inadequately dressed.

Food ok but service very very slow. Not up to previous standards. Disappointed as introduced two people who had never been before on our reccomendation and neither food or service met expectations

First time visited cultura, bar was really lively, so good atmosphere. Restaurant upstairs was quieter which was good. Service was friendly but slow, didn't take order for 40 mins. They did say they were short staffed but restaurant was half full. The food was lovely though, wasn't disappointed there. Our bill had extra drinks on it, but was sorted straight away.

Atmosphere brill. Food really really good. Wait a little long but you know everything cooked for your party! Staff worked so hard (Liam) but could have done with another! However one of my fav places at the mo!

Excellent food and wine. My fish nice was fantastic. Nice atmosphere. Bit noisy downstairs in the bar. Reasonable prices. £30 each. Will definitely go again.

The food was superb, the service was excellent, and for a special night, which it was, I'd rate it very highly. Unfortunately, the whole experience was marred by an inebriated patron who was very offensive in his personal remarks, which were voiced very loudly. Ruined what was, up until that point, a very good experience.

Very nice evening meal, starter of duck wrap lightly fried with sweet chilli dipping sauce was excellent and my lamb was really tasty. We will go back. Music was a little loud for our taste which can be off putting but later it was turned down.

very warm and friendly welcome from the staff at Cultura. Food was good though a wider selection on a Sunday would have been appreciated. Would certainly eat here again and recommend to friends

Lovely atmosphere, fab staff. Only downside was having to wait for our table when we turned up and about an hour wait or so for food. Food tasted really good and great value for money.

Good food - pity it had a noisy pub downstairs. We were the only people eating in an empty restaurant upstairs. If you can get a Jones type atmosphere with the good food that is being serve this would be a good place to eat.

A Lovely restaurant, an imaginative menu, excellent service and delicious food! The T bone steak serving platter with watermelon and feta salad was a particular hit.

Bit disappointed, one of our party's chicken was not cooked and was raw in the middle, then once everyone else had finished, a new chicken came but a much smaller one - obviously to try to cook it quicker!

We had a table booked for 7.30pm and had a drink downstairs in the bar upon arrival. We had to ask for a lime for our gin and tonic only to be told that the limes had finished ( we were offered lemon instead). There appeared to only be 2 waiting staff to cover both the bar and the restaurant which resulted in long delays between ordering main course and receiving it. We had to remind the waiter of our drinks order 20 minutes after he had taken it. We also had to ask for the dessert menu and prompt the waiter to take our dessert orders. The service and the food was not as good as it has been on previous visits particularly the seafood risotto. On a positive note the atmosphere was festive and the setting relaxing.

Really nice food and atmosphere. Would have preferred proper roast potatoes though! The menu in the restaurant was different to what was online, and the offer online was also not available which was a bit disappointing, but actually the current menu was better than the online one anyway, so I wasn't too disappointed.

A really great experience with good food and wine and wonderful ambience. A little disorganised with bringing bread with the olives and had to ask for the candle on the table to be lit. Other than that we had a wonderful and easy evening.

The food was delicious and could not be faulted, as it has been on all the previous occasions we've been there. Unfortunately the service was very slow and spoilt our visit.

There was a really lovely atmosphere in cultura, particularly as the sun was shining and all the doors were opened out downstairs. The food was really good but the service a little slow.

Only table sat in Resteraunt, however, waitress was in a hurry to get rid of us. No coffee or dessert was offered or even anymore drinks. She clearerd our plates and didn't return, so i assumed i had to go downstairs to pay the bill. The site also asks for additional information about the occasion when you make the booking. I mentioned it was my friends 21st Birthday but nothing was done for her. overall disappointing.

It was fine. Perfectly pleasant. The restaurant was quiet which suited us. The food was good, although my main (linguine with lentil fritters) was a touch too salty and the caramel on my crème caramel was just a little burnt. The service was good and we didn't have to wait long for food or drinks at any point. Nice to be given water without having to ask.

Excellent food and great service. Had a starter , main and pudding and a lovely large glass of Rose. Good value for money. Greta Sunday lunch.

Massively busy, as usual, noisy (but in a good way), fantastic atmosphere. And then there's the food. Every time we eat there we are soooo impressed with the flavours, presentation, choices, in fact everything about the visit to Cultura. The staff work very hard and are cheerful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A MUST eatery to visit

Very relaxed atmosphere with great staff and excellent food been here several times and can't fault it - will definitely be going again with friends and family

Chilled atmosphere with lovely food and staff! The prices are quite reasonable for an alternative take on Sunday lunch. I'll definitely be returning soon, thank you!

Excellent food and excellent, attentive, but not intrusive service. We will be going there again. We will be telling all of our friends to try it out.

Good food, however the service was a bit unreliable, although I think this was mainly due to it being a busy Saturday night with a full restaurant.

it has a very nice atmosphere, the variety and quality of the food and service was good. this is our second visit and we have made another booking.

Great food and great atmosphere. They move you on after two hours, this wasn't a problem for us but some people weren't too happy about it. Food was quick out so there isn't much waiting around.

Excellent service with a great atmosphere. Food could have been a little bit hotter, desserts were absolutely gorgeous. Even though it was very busy, the staff were very attentive. I would definitely go there again as well as recommending it to others.
