This is now my usual drop in cafe before or after shopping as it’s a great location and the kebabs are excellent. I love the spices they use to marinated the meat in.
I live the chicken kebabs here just the right mix of spices makes this a tasty choice and the chilli sauce tops of a great dish
Great location at the east end of the city. I am always torn between chicken kebabs and curry here but last night kebab won
Another pleasant meal, really enjoyed the chicken tikka and peppers kebabs think they might be my favourite

Love the location and the food just the spot to end a long day of shopping in the city centre. There is plenty to Choose from on the menu and the food is served up very quickly too if you do not have a lot of Tim to dine
Great place to fill up before hitting the Xmas markets m. I went with the sonar calzone which takes a bit of eating, lots of meat and brilliant chilli sauce so what not to like that.

This is my favourite cafe/ takeaway at the east end of the city. I love their spicy kebabs which are always really tasty and I can’t get enough of the spicy chilli sauce
I love the kebabs here the meat is really tasty with the right blend of spices to suit my taste. It is a great ovation if your on your way into forge city centre or the way out if your on the leith side of town
I like this cafe it’s central and as I was heading for a night out gives you a chance to eat some nice food without any fuss
We were going to a show and needed to eat quick and go and this place fitted the bill a bit more takeaway than cafe but it works and the food is really tasty
This cafe is great when you are going to the theatre and need somewhere to get good food served quick and this is just what you get. The selection is great and never had a bad meal
When ever I’m in the mood for a kebab this is my go to place very much a cafe/takeaway but who cares the food it tasty with the right level of spicy heat to meet the craving
A bit of a last minute choice but always reliable good range of spicy food close to theatre so gives you tune to eat before a show or after if you so minded
We where going to a show and needed to eat a good meal and not spend ages doing so and this little cafe does just that. Really good pizzas made fresh and no hanging around met we cold fit it in before the show started as it not far from theatre
After a few festival shows this is the place to head as there is plenty of choices on the menu and if you fancy spicy then get the chicken kebab with chilli sauce
It’s nothing fancy more your typical takeaway with a few tables but who cares because the food is very good. I was in the mood for a spicy pizza and that just what I got. Great location for the theatre and quick service
I was in the mood for a kebab today so had the mixed kebab which was very good but the best bit is their chilli sauce which I think I’m addicted to because my choice of menu is focussed on what comes with the sauce. Great location if your at the mid end of the city
Another good meal I went with the mixed pakora and a chicken tikka kebab. The star is always the chilli sauce. I think it’s home made as I have not tasted anything like it so highly recommend what ever you choose to eat make sure you get the hot sauce.
First time at this cafe but really enjoyed it. There is plenty of choice and it’s perfect for pre theatre eating as the service is quick. I had a calzone with chicken tikka and it was tasty especially the pizza dough so might try another pizza soon
I live this cafe it’s ready central and the food is really tasty. I got a bit adventurous this time and tried the pizza calzone with kebab meet and only thing to say is where has that one been all my life wow great tasty and spicy too
Has really good chicken ticks Kebab tonight and a really good chilli sauce which is the real star. Cafe is well place by the playhouse so gives a good option before a show
The food was really tasty and very good value for money. Our waiter (Mani) was very attentive.
Another good kebab really tasty meat and I live the chilli sauce. This cafe is perfect for the city centre and the staff are always friendly and service is quick so can’t go wrong
I went for an early dinner meal after shopping in town. I was I. The mood to try something different to my usual choices so tried the prawn curry and it was really good. The prawns where really tasty and not over powered by the curry which was the main reason for not trying before not any more.
After dropping my wife off at the theatre and thought of here for my supper, easy to park at and close to the drop point. Really the fact was a notion for a calzone pizza was my real reason and they do it really well a tasty dough and spicy meat filling can’t be beat it’s a winner for me
This is a great little cafe style takeaway so you can sit or go. I enjoy the chicken tikka kebabs which is really tasty with a great mix of spiced marinated. The chilli sauce is special too and gives you that kick of heat when your not expecting it so try it soon
I love this place it’s simple with really good food at a reasonable price. It’s sort of takeaway in a cafe so works well and it’s central. I had a pizza with kebab meet and spicy onions and it was great. I would not normally go with this but i felt like something different and this is so try it some time
I was in town shopping and went here to get good hot food quickly without fuss. I had a spicy pizza which was really tasty and the meat was just the right level of spicy hot to get over the turkey feeling of Christmas, I find this place handy when in town as it just off the main centre but close enough to walk too
I like this cafe as it’s simple and all the food is freshly prepared and tasty. I had a spicy pizza this time round so a mix of cultures of Italian with Turkish spicy meet and onions so what’s not to like about that combination certainly works for me and I’m sure for you too some time
It is a busy wee cafe, the food was plentiful and good, staff were great. Cheap and cheerful. Cash only. You can take your own wine.
Any good visit this time I tried their curry menu and really enjoyed a chicken Bhuna with fried rice and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the taste more than you would expect from a cafe so don’t let this title of this place put out you off try it for yourself
I really enjoy this no frills cafe and the variety of choice on the menu. I decided to try on of the lamb curries with rice and ivreLly envoys it. The lamb was tender snd the sauce was a rich meaty flavour which worked well with fried rice so try it
Yet another tasty chicken kebab wrapped in a pashwari nan and the best chilli dipping sauce I have tasted to the point of addictive so you must try this cafe if you in this area
It’s more a takeaway with some tables but that apart it works for a meal without fuss before or after a show. I had a pizza for a change and it was a decent base ad price so good value
This is my favourite cafe when in the mood for a chicken kebab. I mixed of spices the kicker is marinated in are the key to making this a really good dish you must try sometime to taste for yourself
I had a lads nice planned so this is a great spot to get really good spicy kebabs before or after the beer. This time it was a before meal and the chicken tikka was great and had some chicken pakora so both really tasty and served with minimum of fussy just does what a cafe.
A good choice for a kebab night plenty of options to choose from and I went for the large diner and salad. Not only is the Miami really tasty but they have one of the best chilli sauces to go with it. It a great little cafe which you should try if your around that area of the city.
I love this place just right for the theatre and the city centre. Nothing fancy just good fresh cooked food and tonight’s was tasty I had the chicken kebab and and it was spiced just right so pop in some time you will not be disappointed
Popped in for a pizza and tried the spicy one dinner meet and onions. It’s a first for me but I’m hooked and might even try it as a calzone sometime soon hooked on the chilli sauce so you have to try it you won’t regret it
My go to place for quick service and tasty food . I tried a pizza from here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised as the base was really tasty and a little bit crisp which I really like. The meat choices are a bit limited but the pepperoni was excellent just the right amount of spice kick so would recommend you try it as a change from the chains
Needed a quick lunch before heading to the train so this works really well food cooked fresh and quickly so no hanging around. Went with pakora and it was good
Good as always tried the kebab this time round and would certainly take this option again
Tried a curry on this visit and enjoyed it sometimes they can be oily but this was not and really tasty
