What makes Curry Centre in High Wycombe town centre stand out from the crowd then? Well, firstly, it’s the range of regional Indian dishes, meaning you’ll come across traditional options from Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bengal and Kolkata… much more than just your average curry house selection, wouldn’t you say? Then comes the tasty Curry Centre fare that comes straight out of the tandoori oven as well as the time-tested curry classics we all have a soft spot for – because who doesn’t love a chicken madras or lamb bhuna?
We are all about starting things off with a serving of chilli paneer; butterfly king prawns and the lamb samosas. Then, if you’re thinking about one of those regional Indian dishes, we love the Keralan kathal masala of savoury jackfruit cooked in a flavoursome masala sauce, or the Pondicherry pan-fried duck served with a tangy tamarind chutney jam. Great food and excellent service. Lovely new decor. The new menus look great - just a shame they don’t describe what the ‘usual’ curries are. I forget what a jalfrezi is etc!
