About Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano

Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano is where you’ll find Italian cuisine done right. This charming restaurant in the heart of Coalville offers starters from classic calamari to more complex chicken livers, sauteed in butter and marsala wine with a rich tomato sauce. Afterwards, perhaps veal escalope topped with parma ham and sage, or an old Italian favourite, spaghetti puttanesca. The olive and anchovy sauce with this dish is serious salty goodness. Occupying the former Jackson Street shoe shop, J Lenton & Son, Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano is a perfect spot for casual dining with family and friends. There are weekly menu specials, great wines and sophisticated cocktails, so reserve a table now. We promise you’ll leave with a smile on your face.

It was a good, well cooked Christmas dinner. Unfortunately a gentleman was taken ill with heart attack & one of the waitresses who was a student nurse took charge until both paras & ambulance arrived. To the restaurant's great credit they dealt with this emergency & resultant loss of waitress & furniture moving & drips being installed admirably. Well done for putting the patient first.
