Lovely service, great club sandwich, proper chips reasonable value. Overall a very pleasant lunch
The service was slow. They demoted me to a back table as I was drinking but not eating. They tried to charge me £2.25 for a glass of soda water.
The food was extremely good, as was the service. However, we were seated on a table by the bar and the whole meal was ruined by two groups of extremely loud men and women and we could hardly hear what each other were saying. We were told that there were no other seats available, which was a shame as I had arranged to meet friends who I had not seen for a while and who had travelled all the way from Suffolk.
This was a very pleasant meal with good sized well cooked portions but it lacked the service or quality to make it a great experience.
Great staff, food excellent. Lovely range of wine. A nice stage for my leaving do. Lovely outside space as well as the sun was out!
