Great food with generous portions and lovely staff. Website is misleading as it says 5 course deal is cheaper than it was.

We arrived earlier than booked. The welcome was friendly and we were sat quickly and drinks ordered. The waiters were interested in our group as we weren't all English speakers and were happy to interact which made them feel welcome. The wait for the food was longer than expected but we were kept informed and enjoyed all the dishes that arrived. Our youngest guest even got a free ice cream to take home! Looking forward to our next visit very soon.

Good food and prompt service. Enjoyed the special 5 course menu because it’s straight from the main menu. Not fobbed off with limited choice. Will be visiting again. Pleased they have a takeaway menu too and offer delivery within widnes.

Great food and excellent value for money. It takes too long to be served though. Probably they are busy as they deliver too so staff is overstretched.

We have eaten here many times and as usual food was really tasty, but restaurant was very busy so service suffered. In recognition, we were given complimentary drinks.

Me and my family went on New Year's Eve had a lovely 5 course meal staff were very good as it was packed but got seen to quick .

To be honest we usually go this restaurant a lot an it’s great but last night New Year’s Eve was very disappointing the service wasn’t good stood waiting for a table which was empty for 30 min no napkins not a very good experience probably won’t be going on new year again

After going here for many years 6 of us went last night and we all noticed the portion sizes have been reduced. Not much chicken.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The menu has a good selection of curries and the food is very nice. I will definitely be visiting again.

Food was very good but had to wait a long time because they were extremely busy. Staff were very helpful. But they were rushed of there feet.

Visited the desii on Saturday night,met by the staff on entrance and shown promptly to our table. The food was excellent and was piping hot. Shall be visiting again very soon as the evening was excellent from start to finish.

Food was spot on but slow Service. Had to walk up to bar to ask for the cheque, as I think they'd forgotten about us.

Have been talking of going here since opened but finally made the decision to go last night" booked for 7.30 and arrived at 7.10, waited 10 minutes in seating area whilst table prepared due to be very busy, but worth the wait. Had the 5 course special £10.95' I had Tanddoori mix for starters(extra £1.50) but worth it, followed by Chicken masala chilli with Bengali rice, all cooked to perfection and good size portions. Good service and friendly staff. Will definitely go again and reckomend.

Pleasant atmosphere. Music not too loud. Cool spot in the hot weather. Food was excellant (we chose the set menu and this was very good value with enough choices). Service attentive and prompt. This was our first time and we will definitely go again.

We had the set menu, which was very good value. The drinks were a bit pricey but then you expect that in an Indian restaurant. The food was good but in other restaurants of this kind there are food warmers to keep it hot while you eat. That didn't happen at Desi. However the service was good and food cooked well and good portions.

This was our first visit to Desii. We received great service and fantastic food. We would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning. Desii is officially our favourite indian restaurant.

to much onions in dish and not enough sauce apart from that it was ok. staff were fab and very friendly. we did say about the dishes and they apologised

Excellent food as usual but unfortunately, for a Saturday evening, it was very quiet, not busy at all so there was not much of an atmosphere. Why it is not busier I don't know because the food & the service is so good.

The food was ok. Nothing special, if that was because we chose the £9.95 special I don't know. Have had better tastier meals there before though. But as I went with friends from out of town I don't was a bit disappointed.
