I cannot fault this restaurant for service, food, value, authenticity or anything else! It was my companion’s birthday and it was a Tuesday, so imagine my delight when I found out that Dhoompan is now open for dinner every night of the week. We may have been the first Tuesday diners ever, and we received a warm welcome from the staff and one of the co-owners came out to greet us too. My companion is from Bradford and was used to a different type of South Asian cuisine so I was excited to show off the flavours of Bangladesh. His verdict: refined and delicious. The food here is delicious and just the right level of spices in the dishes. The chicken is my favourite as it’s not dried out like some tandoori dishes can be.

It was my first time dining at Dhoompan and I enjoyed it enormously. The staff are lovely, friendly and informative, and the food is really good: interesting and full of unique flavours. A delightful experience and I will definitely be back.

The food is exquisite and the owner sweetly explained the menu to us. We shared everything and had about 12 different dishes and the only dull dish was the rice pudding with mango. Bench seats a little uncomfortable but genuinely exciting and different food experience and cannot recommend it highly enough

small plates of deliciousness. Perfect balance of spices. A taste of Bangladeshi food. Loved the bortha's , chicken rhoost a nd beef bunny. Actually everything was amazing.

Being a Bengali I am so relieved that finally someone has taken the initiative to open a Bangladeshi street food establishment. This place is so cute. Those little touches did not go unnoticed. The Thaali, Naaga pots, the fans hanging from the wall lights and let’s not forget the most comforting Bangal Tea! We arrived as group of 8 and the owner very kindly allowed us to have the Carom board set up for the children. Being Ramadan we were also given dates and some fruit to break our fasts. Now the food! OMG this beats your average Bangla wedding chicken roast. honestly hats off to the chef. My husband couldn't stop talking about how tender and flavoursome it was. The slow cooked lamb was cooked to perfection. Everything was amazing. The service was quick and 10/10 for the hospitality. THANK YOU
