Portuguese food can often be overshadowed by the countless Spanish-style tapas bars that are found up and down the UK, but on York Place in Brighton town centre, they have a restaurant that offers an authentic Atlantic experience to the hungry public. Dina’s Kitchen is a Portuguese palace with a menu to match, from fresh seafood to hearty stews and plenty of baked goods. We recommend starting your meal with an octopus salad, before moving onto the feijoada, a stew made with black beans and spicy sausage, or a sliced pork loin bifana. Top your meal off with any one of the superb Portuguese pastries – custard tarts are the classic, of course – and wash it all down with some vinho verde: Salud!
Excellent food and the service was charming. The menu offers traditional foods which are cooked to perfection. The wine list was ample and the house red was excellent.
Very nice environment. Amazing food! Everyone was nice with us. The table was ready when we got there. We waited a bit longer than expected. Apart from that all perfect.
Good tasty food enjoyed by all four guests. Food is prepared to order, and hence can be slow in arriving if you're there at busy times - great if you just want a leisurely meal. Menu somewhat limited, but all tastes catered for..
