Excellent food quality- it's clear the restaurant prides itself on the ingredients and presentation. No other local restaurant has this quality. It's a quiet unassuming restaurant, I am happy to support local businesses, if you have not tried the venue, then why not give it a try.
I would give 2 but I do feel sorry about them as they where nice but food was bad. The ox stew had only few fatty chewy bits in it, no more meet could be found in there. The main course was really awful experience and i feel sick today. They asked us if we would like a dessert and then brought only one menu, even though the restaurant was empty (now I know why)
Open every day of the week except for Monday, Dove and Olive Branch delights diners with seasonal modern European cuisine and a charming setting in London’s Woodford. Found on the High Street, just down the street from the Woodford Memorial, Dove and Olive Branch is a standout when it comes to sustainable cuisine in the city. By using only seasonal ingredients, you know you’ll be enjoying the best possible flavours as they’re meant to taste: fresh and all-natural.
With an ever-changing menu, you can never be sure what you’re going to get at Dove and Olive Branch. But one thing’s for certain – it’s going to be one of the best meals you’ll have in London’s Woodford. Try mains like roast duck breast with rosti potatoes and green beans, grilled sirloin steak with slow roasted tomatoes and mushrooms, or steamed salmon fillet with almond gremolata. The desserts are phenomenal, including favourites like apple and blackberry crumble, Baileys bread and butter pudding, and lemon posset with mini souffle donuts. Of course, you’ll have to visit Dove and Olive Branch yourself to see what’s new on the menu – a reservation in advance is advised.
