Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Stunning food and a very good selection of drinks. Sherry wines and Rosita craft beer are a must!
Excellent and inventive food with an authentic atmosphere. Loved the sherry!
Excellent food and drink supported by knowledgable and friendly staff
Great fun ....like stepping into a bar in old Seville just much better food! The sherry was fun, the red wine was a poor choice. Quite expensive as we had just 4 plates but nice staff.
Really great fun. Lovely staff. Awesome drinks. Nothing we tried could have been better.
It was quite quiet but then again it was a Monday. Didn't really affect the atmosphere, otherwise excellent food, service, and of course, sherry. Reasonable for a tapas place too.
Very enjoyable place to meet up with friends! Good food and wines.
We had a lovely time. The wait staff was helpful, the food was delicious, and the sherry was straight out of the barrel. I will definitely be coming back for drinks and tapas!
Quick and friendly service, very warm atmosphere. Good quality food and wine, would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Drake's continues to be my favourite tapas bar, a great atmosphere, fantastic food and brilliant staff! I have also converted a friend who has said it is some of the best food he's ever tasted.
Friendly staff, delicious food and a great range of sherry by the glass. Please add Amontillado to the permanent menu!
Really lovely tapas and very reasonable price. Nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Charlotte Street. I will be visiting here again in the near future!
Friendly personnel, willing to answer all our queries regarding food ingredients and way of cooking. Must try the goat cheese with truffle dish. However, it is slightly more expensive than expected considering the small portions that a tapas bar must have.
Delicious food, fabulous wine and friendly service - a wonderful dinner
Beautiful, great and quaint little hidden Tapas bar in the heart of Fitzrovia with a nice vibe and rather friendly staff. Very Authentic but a little pricey
Wonderful service- warm but excellent. The food was a cut above top tapas in London - more experimental without compromising the classics. Loved it.
Very quiet on a Monday night and service was oddly disinterested compared to last time I was there, but food and sherry were excellent. Would definitely go back.
Excellent food & service. Friendly staff who were very attentive, great atmosphere
Really nice atmosphere and lovely staff. We didn't really enjoy the sherry we had with our starter but that was probably just us - the jamon and bread was excellent and the tapas were too. Some dishes slightly better than others - pig cheeks and roasted squash in particular were really tasty. It's a more interesting tapas menu than most places. Nice Spanish red as well.
Drakes is a lovely place - friendly and relaxed with great food and brilliant wine. Definitely try ice cream with sherry poured over oh and goats cheese and honey... in fact try everything!
Great service, food and relaxing evening. The Ambience was wonderful.
Food good. Wine excellent. Service lacking: reasonable if neglectful. Recommended nevertheless
Second visit to this delightfull tapas bar, again the food was excellent and the service very attentive. Menu change in March so will be going back to taste!
Great food, great service, great price. Would definitely eat there again, the pigs cheeks were my favorite
Amazing food, staff and experience would definetly come back here !
They serve Delicious Food and there is a Cosy Atmosphere. It was our third time and certainly not our last! The area around it has many other eating and drinking establishments worth trying.
Every time i have visited Drakes Tabanco i have been impressed by the whole experience. The staff, atmosphere, menu and quality of food along with the price of bill is hard to find.
Great as always. If not best Spanish, then definitely Northern Spanish food in London. Staff are always lovely. Look forward to next visit and new menu refresh.
Superb selection of extremely tasty tapas! So much so it was difficult not to order one of everything (which we very nearly did). Service was exceptional - overall cannot recommend enough. I went with 3 Japanese visitors and they loved it.
Excellent food and service! Everyone was so accommodating of our group for a birthday. All the food was fantastic. Truly and authentic tapas place..we will definitely be returning to this gem in Fitzrovia.
fantastic, best in the area, most authentic around, great range of sherry and food is exceptional, house red is fantastic would go again and again and again
Great food. Good choice of tapas and of sherry. Staff are happy to advise on tapas/sherry combinations. Moderately expensive (I spent £132 on tapas and drinks for two).
My absolute fave tapas bar - visited on its second day of opening and since then visiting regularly. Unique ambience, amazing staffs, and best quality food thats seriously tasty. Highly highly recommended.
Food was great, some unusual dishes like deep fried cauliflower were a surprise hit. The sherry and wine we tried were also very good - the best was the mencia red. Service and ambience were also very nice, we will visit again.
Tapas so small portions. Bread basket was not enough for 4ppl, so we ordered 3 portions. Suitable for quiet meet. Service could've been a little more prompt.
Absolutely 10 / 10 - great food, lovely staff and superb ambience!! Well done to the Team. Looking forward to my next visit to the real gem.
This was my second visit in as many months. The food and service are fantastic. We ordered three dishes twice they were that good... As a Spanish wine snob, the wine list needs some work.
As a regular visitor to Spain, I love tapas, and have a few favourite tapas bars in London. I have to say though, I have never tasted such amazing food as I have at Drakes, it is definitely my new favourite place! The ambience is great too and so are the staff.
A lovely atmosphere, nicely tucked away in Fitzrovia with a very nice menu. I would certainly recommend this restaurant as a venue for couples and small groups.
this was a great Tapas bar - very authentic. We shared 5 tapas which was fine for us but it would not have been enough food for my husband! Not the place to go if expecting large meal. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the food was glorious!
