Amazing restaurant and lovely staff! Food was fantastic. Staff were very attentive, service was speedy and prices are affordable. I've been coming here for years and would still highly recommend x

Food was average, run out of items on the menu after we had ordered. Place smelt like a drain...Wouldn't return or recommend a friend unfortunately

Small, compact little restaurant with exceptional quality of food. Service was always with a smile an nothing was ever to much for the staff. Would recommend the smokehouse to anyone who hasn't been before.

Great food, big portions and for very reasonable prices! Lacked a bit of flavour however but that's just personal taste. Nice atmosphere inside restaurant and pleasant staff.

Front of house was dressed wearing dirty jeans shirt out of his jeans. Jeans were half way down his bum pants on show. Bar man was wiping his nose on his hand then severed drinks. Food was nice but the two male staff needs sorting out. Glenn Wilson.

We got to the restaurant 15 mins early and the waitress complained. Not sure why ? The place was nearly empty. We were given the table right by the drafty door. . The place had a really bad smell to it so we complained and left. . Won't be going back I'm afraid.

Second time to this restaurant and it was as good as the first time. The meats are very tasty and the hot wings with the extra hot sauce is exactly what it says it is! Friendly staff aswell and a good selection of ciders and beers.

Heating had broken so it was really cold. Food wasn't the greatest quote dry and bland. Service was excellent and really enjoyed the different types of drinks.

Wow lovely dinner will defo be took my 2 children and they are already asking to book back in fantastic service along with other fantastic food

The staff were lovely but there was no heating so restaurant was cold and the food was pretty poor , burger and a few chips no garnish or salad ,such a shame.

The food was outstanding as always and the staff very polite, but the restaurant was cold and even though i was sat next to a radiator.

Food was good. But we had a table booked for 15:00 but arrived at 14:30 and seated straight away. But because we were this last table of the day we were very rushed. They were clearing away our plates before my daughter had finished. We have been on other occasions and had a really good experience which is a shame.

We had a lovely meal the staff were great and the food was plentiful and terrific we didn't Wait too long for food and the waitress was very polite and friendly.we will definitely be back soon

Staff were friendly but the service was very slow given that it wasn't particularly busy. The portions were very generous. The lights were a little too bright - it felt a bit like being interrogated under a spotlight!

We had a warm greeting and were shown to our table. Our waiter was brilliant at giving us pointers as to which meal/sides to have and we didn't regret taking on his advice...the beef brisket especially was delicious! I'm really looking forward to going back to sample the other delights on the menu 😃

To wait an hour for food is unacceptable (the table next to us only had to wait 20 mins for their food). Also, who serves up Oven Ready Steak Chips these days - expected something a bit more fancy than that. Wont be going back.

Service was mediocre and slow. we didn't receive the food we ordered but this was put right when we told the waiting staff. At the end of the main course we were asked if we wanted the bill, to which I responded that we wanted to see the dessert menu first, only to be told that they needed our table for another booking. When I pointed out that we had arrived early the waitress said she would speak to the manager to see if we were allowed a dessert!!! They very "kindly" allowed us to stay for dessert. I think they should make clear that reservations are for a set amount of time when you are seated. The service also needs to be much slicker to allow people to have a dessert if they wish. You cannot impose a set time unless you are able to serve three courses in that period! Very disappointing as this was for my sons birthday. In their defence they did give my son a birthday brownie which was on the house - but this is standard for any birthday booking. Unfortunately we won't be going back - a shame as the food was good quality. A quick word from the manager with an apology would have put everything right but instead we left feeling they couldn't wait to get rid of us.

Very helpful (Turkish/Scottish) waitress, delicious food, huge portions. Toilets not suitable for disabled 😡, Perfect for lunch or evening meal. Very enjoyable meal. Hope to return.

Service was extremely slow, waitress was confused with simple order. Drinks took 20 minutes when all we ordered was water, Diet Coke, and two beers

Excellent food, reasonable prices and good service. Only negative was being moved to a different table after ordering on excuse of beating seated at the wrong table. We wound up on a better table so not too bad!

Ran out of fillet steak was only 7:00pm chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it and waiter spilt drink over other guest lap won't be eating here in the future

Poor service, poor atmosphere, poor cold food - main course especially, Poor complaint handling, just simply poor, so excited to go to eat somewhere new but such a let down. The restaurant was also very cold, 2 staff wasnt enough tonight either!! After hearing such good comments, tonight hasnt impressed me to advise friends/family to go there.

The food was amazing, the staff were really friendly. Thoroughly recommend! Even the bill was reasonable. Will definitely be going again - lovely evening for all

As always great service food and beer, always a buzzing atmosphere and friendly staff. Card machine very sporadic and we even fixed the BB while we were there.

Place was clean. Food was ok. Could of done with more chips and more toppings on nachos. Lots of burger restaurants out there for competition.

The food nice and service was good. However at the end of our meal we felt almost pushed out the door so that the next reservation could sit down.

Authentic food, lots of it and great service. Very good value and consistently good food. One of my favourite places to eat anywhere, certainly number one in Norwich.

Had a lovely meal with friends unfortunately had to send dessert back as wafer put in by mistake. Beef brisket was beautifully tender. Nice to have a range of gluten free foods. Looking forward to the new beer menu as apparently will have lots of gluten free choice.

Overall an OK joint to eat. Beef Brisket was dry and bland. Steak was a beautiful medium with a decent sear. Fries are clearly pre-packaged and rubbish. They shine a bit on their other sides, the pit beans are great, mac-n-cheese is decent etc. Best BBQ in Norwich... but there aren't exactly many other options.

Starter of the jalapeños was a bit bland. Full stack burger thing was amazing - I was stuffed! Decor of the place was also a bit bland.

The staff couldn't be more helpful, accommodating or patient. The food was extremely good. The restaurant really has no feel about it; white walls, one red one, a couple of things on the wall. The lighting is very bright and white from glass lampshades. We went in the evening (without the kids for a change!) but felt it was not a very intimate meal.

Having never been here before I was excited to have a meal here, I have heard a lot of good things. Some nice food, the meats were cooked really well as you would expect so that was good, however we found it to have a very awkward atmosphere. Feeling more like a cafe than a restaurant. I probably would go back, but over all the staff and general atmosphere was awkward.

Disappointed. Starters didn't arrive together, in fact had to remind waitress that one was missing. The so called 'hot' buffalo wings had absolutely no chilli 'kick' to them at all, and when queried with waiting staff was flatly told yes they were without going and checking! The ribs were tasteless with none of the smoky flavour you would expect. Table next to us also had issues with their food.

Very tasty food and great friendly service. Menu was just the right amount of dishes in order to provide delicious food. Would recommend and will definitely be going back soon.

This was my third visit to Drays yard and it sadly will be my last! A celebration dinner was a big disappointment, the service was very poor, after waiting approx 20mins for our drinks alone. Our starter was very nice but was chucked on the table by the manager. We ordered, only then to be told the brisket had sold out! The ribs were vinegary. After great food on previous occasions this visit was a huge disappointment.

Run out of a few dishes (chicken wings and brisket) but the food was generally good as always (even my ever moaning friend shut up briefly) and the service was excellent - thank you very much sarah!

Had to wait a while but well worth the wait. Waitress new so a few mistakes that were rectified straight away with no fuss so no problem to us
