Chances are, you’ve already heard how Duke of York is one of Grindelton’s favourite watering holes, but did you also know they serve authentic Italian food? That’s right, folks. Thanks to talented Italian chefs at Buon Gusto, there’s now spaghetti bolognese available alongside your favourite ale. Found on Grindleton Brow, Duke of York is a popular stop for locals and residents of nearby Chatburn and Clitheroe alike. Recommended dishes here include the gamberoni alla provencale (king prawns pan-fried with garlic and herbs), the four-cheese ravioli and spaghetti carbonara. Duke of York is open seven days a week, but they’re known to get busy – reserve ahead to save a table.
