Lovely restaurant, food was excellent but lacked atmosphere a bit. Possibly this is improved on a busier night of the week

A thoroughly enjoyable night out of delicious food in a no fuss dining area.

As always, lovely food, friendly service and a great atmosphere.

We ordered a king prawn dish (£8.95) which didn't arrive with the other tapas dishes and we didn't realise until after we'd left and paid the bill but given the cost of the bill I'm sure we were charged for it. No paper bill at the table so no opportunity to check what we'd had or been charged for. Overall service seemed rushed and not very attentive, dishes clattered down on the table, had to ask for serving spoons etc. Quite disappointed on the whole, as we used to love this restaurant.

Delicious food, great service and a lovely place to visit. Upon ordering what we thought was the right amount do food we were advised it was too much and were given suggestions as what to remove. The advice was perfect & we left comfortably full. Thank you.

A happy return to a favourite restaurant after the lockdowns

When I booked it didn’t give me an option of where to sit so I was assigned outside. Which I think is the wrong way to do it. Then on the evening we waited for 25 minutes for someone to come and take our order as they had told us they would. They never did so we went in to do it. I then waited at the bar for the drinks as the person was on their own and rushed off their feet. When I got back to the table the food had started to arrive. The food was good but we asked for some spoons and they never came. Then when we had finished we went in and paid as no-one was around outside and they had the cheek to charge us service. For the amount of money we paid this did not reflect the experience we had.

The staff were very attentive and once ww ordered the food was brought out within a reasonable time. We couldn't fault the food and we will be back!

Gorgeous food and wine as ever, well set up with outside booths as well as usual tables. Slightly pricey for amounts but happy to support local business rather than cheaper chains
