El Molino

Really love this place - ever since the refurbishment it has been excellent. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, quality food, good drinks list. Highly recommended.

El Molino had overbooked so we had to wait outside for fifteen minutes. They did light the heater, which kept us warm. They took our drinks order and gave us menus. There were nine of us waiting outside. My potatoes arrived ten minutes before my chorizo so by that time I had eaten most of the potatoes. The wine was highly overpriced at £27.00 . The food tasted nice and the staff were polite.

We haven’t been to El Molino for about a year as we don’t live in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent as always, piping hot (for the hot tapas!) and tasty. The wine was delicious too. The service was attentive without being obtrusive but the only slight let down was that the waiter poured our wine without allowing us to taste it first. Good Covid measures in place with the tables well spaced apart and hand sanitiser available. We were a little concerned though when two couples and a small child arrived into the restaurant and were seated at the table behind us as they didn’t appear to all be from the same household. The staff didn’t question the guests. After a few minutes, one of the women asked about dining outside and the whole party then moved from the table which was cleared and sanitised for the next guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return again.

The service was very attentive and plenty of space for social distancing. To top that we ordered a selection of tapas that were to die for. Very authentic and we finished off with the churros and chocolate dip. A perfect Friday lunch idea to set up the weekend. Recommended.

El Molino is a place I've wanted to go to for ages abd finally I've dined there. Wonderful place, lovely atmosphere helped by the really nice staff. The food was amazing and with such a variety I'll definitely go back to try more dishes out. Highly recommend.

It was so nice to go back to El Molino. The food and staff were as always fantastic. It really is such a lovely place. My only slight issue was the noise level, it was heard to hear people at my table at times and it's not that I'm hard of hearing! We will be returning in the near future.

This is a great tapas bar with attentive staff, efficient booking and lovely food, plus excellent wine. The room is a little echoey if there are a lot of people in. Despite this, El Molino's is a great place for reasonably cheap but excellent quality meal. They are also following covid guidelines conscientiously. All in all a good evening out.

Really lovely to be back at El Molino! We sat in their new back garden area and it was great. The staff were all careful about social distancing and the food was as delicious as ever.

Very impressed with the food and drink as usual, as well as the friendly family vibe they always bring. They had taken extra measures post COVID and felt very safe eating there. Very busy which is always a good sign. Love the authenticity of this place and will be back again soon!
