Annoying background music was playing but we asked it to be turned off and it was so that was fine. Everything else was excellent

A little gem in the heart of Braintree town centre! First time we had been to Eleanor’s Bistro and we went for brunch. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Will definitely be going back.

Booking was easy online, service was excellent and food was also excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Nice atmosphere with a live singer. Lovely food. I had the halloumi burger which was really nice and a couple of cocktails which tasted good.

Friendly waitress attended to us quickly and efficiently despite restaurant being quite busy.

The main meal was lovely but was very disappointed with the dessert menu only 5 choices and no description of what they were

Lovely little restaurant nice staff very friendly but the food was the best thing about it was 10 out off 10 couldn’t complain about anything about it to be honest will definitely be going back to try my on the menu

Started off good, mains were lovely and had a waitress that was very good but then she and another waitress left half way during service then our mains were taken and we waited ages and had to ask for the desert menu. The deserts took ages to come out (although at least you could tell the brownie was freshly made). Then when we got the bill the waiter just stood waiting instead of coming back and after paying cash I had to go up and ask for my change instead of it being brought back to our table

It was very busy our mains were delayed we had a long wait to get drinks. We arrived at 7.30pm and finishe agter 10pm. It was very full. Could not hear the singer she was very soft.

All 3 of us enjoyed our meals will return. we try different restaurants every month

The food was amazing. I had the Salmon, cooked to perfection! I didn’t want the meal to end. The atmosphere was fabulous and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Will definitely be returning soon ☺️

My wife and I went to elenas bistro to celebrate Our anniversary. It was amazing, the food was incredible and the staff were so attentive. I can highly recommend elenas bistro well worth a visit, we will definitely be back.

Fabulous. Food was cooked to perfection, the atmosphere was great, service was really good. I can honestly say the steak was cooked perfect and it was so tender it was like a knife going through butter. Highly recommend.

Apart from one person we were the only people in there but it didn’t matter! The food was really tasty - we loved it!

We celebrated my friend's birthday at Elena's bistro and had a lovely lunch. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were delicious. We did not feel rushed at all. Would highly recommend 😊
