Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
Adding modern flair to a centuries-old cuisine, Elif has managed to perfect the art of Turkish cooking. Featuring a beautiful and cosy dining space, the restaurant makes diners feel right at home. An array of mezes, mains, seafood dishes and charcoal specialities make up the majority of Elif’s long menu of food choices, and a full bar provides the social lubricant necessary for a first date. Situated in Liverpool’s Wavertree, Elif on Queens Drive is a standout in the city’s Anatolian dining scene.
A nice change from of going into town. We hummus and bread for starters which was very nice. The main was a mixture of different meats, with rice, wraps, salad and dips was very tasty. The service was very good and staff very nice, would definitely recommend and go back again.
The food was excellent. Good choice and fast efficient friendly staff. Very good for the price. The complementary desert for valentines day was a nice touch too.

Turkish barbecue, meze, seafood and desserts draw in foodies from all over the Liverpool metropolitan area. With excellent customer service, Elif is quickly making a name for itself throughout the city despite its rather recent opening. Found on Queens Drive, close to where the street meets Childwall Road, Elif’s Wavertree premises are not far from Liverpool Hope University.
Serving up authentic Turkish cuisine the way it’s meant to be, Liverpool’s Elif is passionate about their menu offerings. You won’t find greasy late-night kebabs at this friendly Wavertree establishment – it’s all about the meze and barbecue here. Start off with a healthy red onion salad, a plate of hummus or a selection of hot mixed meze including calamari, spring rolls, hellim, sucuk, and izgara kofte. The charcoal specials are especially amazing – try out the Adana, a dish from southern Turkey that’s made with chopped lamb, peppers, chilli and parsley. Make sure to reserve ahead and try them all!
