The Sausages were really tasty but the mash potato was very powdery, as though it was made from a packet and not real potatoes Service was good

We got a really good table in a position that we liked, the staff were friendly & attentive we got loads of food, most of it was really lovely, when we were going to our table we were told there wasn’t any Turkey & when we went to order we were told that there want any beef, they did offer chicken as a substitute for the turkey, & 3 of us had lamb shanks, 2 of the lamb shanks were full of meat but 1 of them was quite gristly & fatty - but we would visit again & try something else from the menu

We were lucky to get the 40% discount available for our 2 course meal. I have to say even without the discount the prices were very reasonable. The portion sizes were generous. As a person interested in nutrition and the benefits of fresh vegetables in particular, the selection in both meals was varied and included tenderstem broccoli not the cheapest version of the vegetable. One word "delicious" and we will certainly come again. Sue and David Forshaw

Some things were missing from the menu & what was available was not up to standard, we wanted dessert but they had no strawberries but would substitute raspberries instead, there was on one & a half raspberries in the dish- what a shambles, will not be in a hurry to return

The food was great and tasted really good. Its so much better than other pub grub in the local area. Dogs welcome. Definitely come back again!
