Only had hot baguettes and a dessert each, but the quality was good, and the service was efficient and very friendly. Found it good value.

Great location, good food and reasonable prices. Nice and spacious. Olde worldly pub with a great range of dishes. Shared the seafood plate and had the ale & steak pie as a main. Both delicious.

An attractive and welcoming venue, we were met with a warm smile and shown to our table straight away. Orders were taken and drinks delivered and we settled in. The meals arrived in good time and happy to say well presented, hot and very tasty. The Staff were brilliant and professional and courteous at all times.

What I love about this pub is the simplicity of the menu, good food cooked beautiful. Not many pubs do liver and bacon and it's a favourite of mine that no-one else seems to like. Cooked to a high standard with most amazing gravy well done to the chef and also the service which was excellent again. Good value for money.

My food was really good but my friend was cold. The service was slow and as stood at the bar and acknowledged by the staff, they still served everyone who arrived after me and missed me out altogether.

We recently visited the Ferry Boat for a family Sunday lunch. This was our first visit and we will certainly be returning, the venue was very clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and the service was good. We all had a roast dinner which was excellent, the food was well cooked and presented and all freshly cooked.

Three of us ate here. The liver and bacon was excellent, the falafel burger was very nice, and bacon and blue cheese burger was nice and thick. They actually forgot to put the blue cheese in the burger, but the bacon was done so nicely (crisp and tasty), I thought the blue cheese might has spoiled the flavour - so I certainly didn’t complain. The chips and coleslaw with the burgers were also very nice. Would recommend without question for a good pub grub meal.

The meal was very good. The vegetables came separate and the young lady serving offered us more..One bowl of green and one bowl of cauliflower cheese,we said yes as it wasn't really enough for 4. Unfortunately the extra vegetables arrived as we finished the meal so that was disappointing. However what we had was very tasty. The puddings were lovely but the large portion of crumble needed more custard.Again delicious. I would definitely return but I do think more vegetables should be given initially.

Restaurant was a little busy with a large group, but the service was still fine. Liver & Bacon was very nice, Beef Brisket was as tender as you like, with a special mention for the gravy - which was the nicest I've had in a long time. The deserts were also excellent. Good value at around £80 between 3 of us including drinks.
