Delicious food well presented and a varied menu friendly service

This was our third visit to Forty Four, and the standard remains as high as ever. We have now tried most items on the menu, and the choice is excellent. Rather than list so many good things, we should probably do it the other way round and say that everything is perfect, with only the Pork Belly being a little drier than we expected. Andrea should be commended for his friendly and gracious service.

Four of us chose from a wide range of starters, mains and desserts, including fish and meat dishes. We were all very satisfied, and there were no glitches whatsoever. It was good to find such a range of fish dishes on the menu. We will certainly return.

Absolutely lovely meal and nice surroundings. I had seared Tuna and lamb was delicious. My friend had dumplings and duck also very nice.

This is such a great local restaurant recently opened. Comfortable pleasant surroundings with very good food, well presented at reasonable cost. It deserves to do well.

This was a first visit to Forty Four by all of us. The waiting time and the food were excellent. The goats cheese and the fish cake starters were both appreciated, with the lamb rump dishes being the stars of the main course, although the gnocchi was commended. The creme brûlée was brilliant. The Chilean Sauvignon blanc and Merlot were of a good standard.
