It was our first visit. The food was great and the service excellent and would recommend.

1st time at a Japanese restaurant. Very friendly greeting and any questions we asked were answered in depth with a smile. We were a table of 3 and chose multiple starters (tapas style) and were not disappointed. Ample portions to share and a range of flavours that were awesome. Mains soon followed and as much as we tried, could not finish. The chef popped out to see us and was very interested in our thoughts and comments. All in all an excellent experience and would not hesitate to return.

The food was great and the Service wad lovely but boy the restaurant was cool and that's putting it mildly. I commented but was told that the temp was as good as they could manage. I'll return but not until warmer weather.

I took my family to the restaurant for my sons 13th birthday and I can safely say it was the best food and experience I've had for a long time. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Incredibly clean!

First time visiting Fujimoto and we were so impressed! The decor was brilliantly themed and felt like you were being cooked for in someone's home. The service was great and the food was incredible

Sushi wasn’t sushi it was weird cooked salmon. The pork was really terrible had hair on the skin and just tasted bad. The service wasn’t great they didn’t even clear our table. Used to be a lovely place to go but £150 for a family of 4! For a terrible meal wouldn’t be coming back.

Excellent! Informal, relaxed, great vibe, attentive and friendly service, food is very tasty, there's a great drinks menu, and plentiful on-street bay parking is free with no time limit after 6:00pm.

We've been multiple times over the last couple of years. We have noticed a decline in server attentiveness and care. That was quite evident tonight. No check ins to see how food was and had to flag a server down when needed a drink. Should it have been busy, fair enough but there were two tables including us. We love Japanese culture and food but the place seems to be lacking a little in that area now. Our waitress didn't even know the names of the sides we had ordered, calling them a different name that honestly.. isn't even japanese. We won't be returning after tonight's experience. I, also, disliked the compulsory service charge as you did not earn that level of tip tonight. Not leaving this review to be rude but simply to point out how quality has dropped in your service.

Service was courteous, warm and one was immediately put at ease. Food was served promptly, was hot and ample quantity. Furnishings were a little canteenish but adequate, choice of background music could have been more in keeping with the culture. Overall impression 9 out of 10.

Waited over an hour for our starters, our daughter’s starter was missing & her main. Do not appreciate a service charge being added to the bill, when there was poor service.
