Gallery 36 is a relaxed restaurant and bar located in the centre of Malvern, not far from Worcester in the stunning Worcestershire countryside. This independently owned eatery on Belle Vue Terrace specialises in European and British grub that is served in a fun and informal setting, ideal for everything from coffee dates to business meetings, and from special celebrations with friends to get-togethers with the family. Their locally-sourced food offering includes dishes such as tasty tapas plates, burgers, fish and chips, steaks, enchiladas and more. This place can fill up pretty quickly, though, so we highly advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment!
Excellent food and service both at lunchtime and in the evening. Quieter, cheaper and better quality than many chains. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Malvern!
What a discovery! Usually eat in the "Chain" place up the road before going to the Theatre, decided to try here Friday evening 5.30 booking on the recommendation of Tripadvisor. This place is open all day, Coffee's, Brunch, Lunch and for us, Dinner in the evening, Tapas to start, followed by Rib Eye, and despite the generous portions, managed to share a Creme Brulee to end. Very well served , presented, decorated, good ambiance, atmosphere, furnishings, this place ticks all the boxes, and more so because it's independent, and reasonably priced..Bonus! Many thanks, we will be back!
Enjoyed our meal so much we went back the following night. My husband and I are both vegetarian and there is a good choice, much better than the usual pasta and pizza option offered in most restaurants. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere.
Helpful, friendly staff and lovely food. I would definately visit again when visiting Great Malvern. I would recommend booking as i can imagine it getting busy later in the evening.
Welcoming atmosphere, efficient and friendly staff, who were understanding when we telephoned to say that we would be half an hour late. Nice wine and two excellent mains of fish and chips and salmon and prawn fish cakes. All piping hot and tasty. The only negative was the starter of rustic bread and balsamic. The presentation was poor and the bread uninspiring. The balsamic was just vinegar and there was no olive oil to mix it with. Otherwise, a nice cosy restaurant with a mix of ages, which was pleasantly busy on a Wednesday afternoon.
Good location, nicely decorated. Delicious food, well presented and very good (non-obtrusive) service. Only slight blip was the noise coming through the walls from the property next door. Otherwise very pleasant experience. Definitely up there with the Nags Head and Cottage in the Woods as best Malvern dinning experience.
Great place to relax. Owner is attentive, plenty of staff. Food is excellent. We had tapas and baked camembert to share. Cooked perfectly and plenty of gluten free options. Check out the varied menu. We booked online using the Quandoo app.
This is a lovely stylish restaurant, with friendly and efficient staff. The cocktails were fabulous and food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
Great atmosphere. Good food. Efficient staff. Definitely would go again. Many places to eat at Malvern but I think this is one of the best.
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, good food - particularly liked it that they were willing to adapt menu items to my requirements eg no cheese or bread but more salad.
