The Garden of England might be Kent, but up to the north in Essex, they’ve gone one better than Maidstone, Dartford and Gravesend could ever do with Garden of India in Harlow. As Indian restaurants in Harlow go, it’s hard to see further than this local curry house on North House Bush Fair, where they offer all the classics of the canon, served in a welcoming and stylish atmosphere and with attentive and friendly staff. The ethos is simple: the best examples of a traditional Indian restaurant menu, from starters fresh from the tandoor oven - chicken and lamb tikka are always a good idea – and all the curries that we know and love, from mild dishes like korma, dhansak and bhuna all the way up to the fiery favourites of vindaloo and madras. Book a table at Garden of India for a curry in Harlow that is more than memorable. Even better, check out their events guide and combine a great meal with one of their regular special theme evenings, for something a little bit out of the ordinary.
I have eaten at the Garden of India many times and the food is superb the service second to none. The entertainment was very very good.
The entertainment that night was unexpected but a nice addition, however it did make it difficult for my fiancée & I to have a conversation without having to raise our voices. But the service & the food was of a high standard as it always is.
Comprehensive choice, really tasty imaginative food, The staff were attentive and the owner couldn’t do enough to help us and share his passion for his restaurant.. Nothing not to like
