Set inside a 17th-century building, Gardeners Arms is a traditional English pub with a lot of character. With regular live music and entertainment nights taking place, it is equally as popular for a night out in Droitwich as it is for enjoying a lovely pub lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The selection of real ales and craft beers is lengthy and on the menu you will find British classics like steak & ale pie, chicken stuffed with black pudding, beef stout Irish sausages with mash and gravy and cottage pie, alongside Thai curries, Italian pizzas, Greek souvlaki, and pub food favourites like the Maryland cheese-stuffed burger. To guarantee a table at Gardeners Arms, located on Vines Lane in the Hill End area, make a reservation in advance!
This was a perfectly respectable Sunday Lunch, large helping, unexciting tastes. The selection was limited but we ate late in the afternoon so that wasn't surprising.
