The food was lovely and the service was great, very friendly staff.

Evening meal for two. Very good value- appreciating the option of smaller portions to allow space for dessert! A bit noisy next to a larger group..a different table would have suited better. But would definitely return

Great service! I ordered the BLT, chips, and chocolate ice cream for dessert. It had a beautiful bar! Very nice and quaint sitting area inside and lovely outdoor sitting area. Servers were very attentive and friendly. Much appreciated! The food was delicious and large serving.

Great service in the bar/restaurant, great food and very reasonably priced. This was our first visit and we shared the experience with family who were visiting from Derby, they too enjoyed the food and service. On arrival, we were unsure where to go; I explained to the receptionist who quite rudely waved us in the direction of the restaurant/bar. The lady on reception was rude and made it quite clear I was interrupting her. As the first impression of the G&A it was not a good one, I was dubious about how the rest of our experience would be. Thankfully, the bar/restaurant staff were lovely and the food was great - because of this we will be back in the future.

The rugby was on… but that was totally ok! And we were offered a quieter table but didn’t take it. The staff were all friendly and polite and the food was generous and tasted amazing!

THE SERVICE/FOOD WAS EXCELLENT IF YOU ONLY POPPED IN FOR A DRINK I AM SURE YOU WOULD WANT TO HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT.

Had our dogs with us sat outside in courtyard one macaroni and one breaded haddock absolutely delicious! 😊

Good food & value for money in Melrose, excellent service.

The food was good but we were absolutely freezing as there was no heat working properly we had to go elsewhere for a heat so won’t be back till there is heating in the place
