About Giraffe - Chelmsford

Giraffe Chelmsford brings its famous international cuisine to Chelmsford town centre. Sitting right on the river bank on Springfield Road, just a few minutes walk from the cinema, this is the perfect spot for dinner before or after a movie on date night. Serving up brilliant breakfast and lunch too, you’ll be sure love Giraffe’s diverse menu that brings so many international dishes together in one restaurant. Breakfast lovers will fall head over heels for their famous pancake stacks, including The Blue Banana, the holy union of blueberry compote; banana and maple syrup, or the North American inspired maple bacon which pairs smokey bacon with – you guessed it – maple syrup. No matter what you’re in the mood for, Giraffe has you covered.

The service was very good but the food was mediocre. The door also seemed not to be working as efficiently as it should so there were icy blasts every time the door opened because it didn't close properly.
