Lovely food more than makes up for the slight disorganized way they handle your booking. After a few worried minutes where it looked doubtful there was a table, they showed us to the bar then not long after to the table. Waiting on staff look a little harassed - it was Friday night and therefore busy but does not lead to a comfortable dining experience. Despite that, our food was delicious and we would go back.

Amazing service and great food. Will definately go again. You get more than what you pay for. The place was constantly busy which is a good sign.

Food was good and service fast but we felt the staff were not very friendly or helpful and had no interaction with us unlike most Italian restaurants.

Two friends and I dined recently at Giuseppe's and had a very enjoyable evening. The staff were absolutely lovely and efficient (don't know how anyone could say otherwise unless they were giving the staff a hard time), the food and wine was excellent, and the entertainer was delightful. I've dined in the best restaurants but have not enjoyed myself so much as I did that evening. We will definitely be going there again. Leah

Lovely food, very busy at 6.30 on a Friday creating a nice atmosphere. Live music a bit loud if you want to be able to chat!

Traditional Italian food in a great atmosphere at sensible prices. Helpful staff, interesting location and portion sizes definitely not for the calorie counters out there

The ambience was lovely, busy but not uncomfortable . The food is absolutely delicious, the best Italian food I've had for years! I would recommend without a doubt.

Louder than usual, hard to speak to each other at the table. Service was horrible. Food was great- which is really the only reason why we go

Great service, especially that we were a booking for 9 people. Lots of choice on the menu, all good value for money. Good wine choice too.

The food wasn't terrible and neither was the service. Neither, however, were good. Poor quality food because the proteins they purchase are either bad, frozen products or cheap, fresh ones. I would guess the former. We still enjoyed our meal. Prices were fair and reasonable despite being in the deter of touristville. Next time we'll stick with our local favourite.

Giuseppe's has a great atmosphere and the food is always fantastic! It's great for groups wanting a more vibrant atmosphere! The lobster and crab ravioli is my favourite dish.

Lots of fun to be had at Giuseppe's. Friendly staff and open late. Its not so much about the food although this is perfectly fine, its about a good old fashioned night out with good people.

You can tell this is a family run business because the service was exceptional! It was my husband's birthday and they put a candle in his dessert and the Frank Sinatra singer sang to him. There was a real buzz about the place, everyone happy, chatting and eating deliciouse food - such an enjoyable evening. Can't wait to come again!

Slight lack in flavour with the bruschetta and mushrooms however the main courses were lovely - pasta, shrimps and the pancakes were all consumed! Have been here often and has a nice authentic italian feel and taste!

Went to Giuseppe's for a birthday treat. The staff there were wonderful, as always. Attentive, but also gave us the time to sit, relax, and enjoy our meal. The waitresses recognised us from past visits and made a fuss of my Nonna, making her feel very welcomed. :) Food was plentiful and delicious. Italian music playing in the background of a cosy setting. Would definitely be back again! One of my favourite restaurants.

Very good food and busy atmosphere, though service has gone down a bit and is more impersonal nowadays, which is a shame. Fine for a girls night out though.

Good food, but a bit over-priced. You're paying for the location not the quality.

Good atmosphere, more appropriate of a bar. Food wasn't fresh and not well presented.

The staff are very friendly and the food is good, however, it should be noted that it is in a small basement room which can get a little bit noisy - if you don't like singers entertaining you then you might want to avoid.

Good find, we had a very nice bottle of red and some authentic wholesome Italian food. No pizza on the menu so if you are after a pizzeria, this is not the place. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and booking is essential, we went on a Friday so I guess that was a factor. The tables are a bit close together so some small talk with fellow guests is possible.

The service was good and the environment pleasing and welcoming for a restaurant downstairs. No issues with the size of the portions but I found the squid and prawns a bit tough and overdone.

The food was good, but rushed you to get the next customer through the door and into your seat, so that you were unable to enjoy your evening

Great atmosphere, good service and good quality food. My only suggestion would be for the music to be turned down a little as it was difficult to hear my friends speak over the music. Otherwise, I highly recommend the restaurant.

A perfect evening out. The food is good but it's more the atmosphere and hospitality that made the night. Entertaining Sinatra impersonator, the inimitable Giuseppe and some cheesey dancetunes to finish things. Recommended!
