Excellent food, well prepared and presented. Limited menu. Good service.
Not ideal if you are after a romantic meal for two. Feels like you are dining under spotlights its so bright. Food was great though. Service friendly. Kitchen staff are very loud.
Lovely & swift service in a lovely location. Food was delicious, especially the steak & triffle! We had a window seat & the sun coming through was a perfect setting!
Receptionist & waiting staff excellent. Polite and efficient. No St Valentine’s night menu! Bright lights no atmosphere. No tablecloths for a hotel restaurant that’s not good. Fish of the day tough over cooked. Shrimps like rubber balls. Food plain disappointing Such a shame Will not return.
We had a pleasant experience at Godfrey's restaurant. Food was hot and well presented. I ordered fish and chips which I was expecting to be good considering the hotel is near the sea. The fish was fresh but the batter was soft and thick. Husband meal was enjoyable. The prices were expensive but they are always are in hotels. Overall good and excellent service.
We arrived and were waiting for another guest but we were not offered any drinks, i had to ask and was informed they were waiting on our other guest. Food was lovely but potatoes a bit cold. Although it wa a lovely meal and we will return
