Goodman City

Had Goodmans USDA Rib eye. It was large but the quality so so. Perhaps I'll try the English beef if I find myself there again.

Seated in a booth in the front of the restaurant as requested, great for watching the world go by. Staff balance a friendly, relaxed and professional approach well. Good quality steaks and a nice buzz.

Have been to Goodmans many times and it’s simply the best steak I town by far. What’s more it is consistent the service is always top notch, the quality of the food is very high and the chefs preparation and presentation is first class and some! I love going there and will be back soon.

Best value for money lunch menu in the city - really generous portions and attentive service

The chicken was moist and delicious - my colleague also enjoyed her fish option. It was quite busy but noise levels were not too high.

In brief, our server was cheery and polite. She explained the menu and the cuts/types of meat in simple terms and was very helpful. We have eaten in many steak restaurants - Gaucho and Hawksmoor included - and the food at Goodmans was delicious. Our steaks were flavoursome, tender and very tasty. We will definitely visit Goodmans again and will be recommending to friends and family too.

I’m in London for business from the US. We had a party of 5. We had the full course, starters, mains, dessert and drinks. All of us had USDA beef, which was amazing. The entire experience was amazing as well. Goodman’s is now my top steakhouse in London.

Thanks to Jimmy for being attentive and his excellent food and drink recommendations. The food was superb! Because we went during a quiet period, waiting wasn't an issue at all. Highly recommend Goodman City if you fancy high-quality food for reasonable prices.

Great meat as usual, only blip was that they kept running out blackboard cuts that my guests were choosing, had to re-order again and again (service completely non-apologetic, as though it is only embarrassing to us!) Decent crowd, especially on a Saturday in the City... how times are changing

Amazing food, including a 400g fillet of beef with a trio of sauces, truffled chips and roasted muchrooms, plus a surprise birthday pudding for my husband. Wonderful service

Not sure I remember much only that the food was great as was the wine.

Great food and service with a very buzzy atmosphere but extremely noisy and difficult to hear everyone at the table speaking. I am not sure that I would return to this particular venue but would be very happy to try other Goodman’s in the hope that the food and service were equally as good as in the City but less noisy and with a calmer atmosphere.

Very good although overall quite expensive. Will definitely return though.
