We had a lovely meal and the food was delicious. Staff were attentive and made God a great experience. The only slight negatives are that the chateaubriand was a bit small for the price compared to our experience at other restaurants and was closer to medium than the medium-rare we had requested.

Had the fish cake for starter, it was nice. Good sized portion and tasty. Then had the beef with mustard mash and bacon and mushroom sauce. Again was nice. Mustard mash was delicious but overpowered the sauce a bit. Carrots cooked to perfection. Enjoyable meal.

The staff at the Grapevine were helpful and efficient. The menu was varied. The food was fabulous. Everything we had looked liked a 'work of art' and tasted wonderful.

Food was very tasty especially the steak and featherblade beef. The risotto dishes weren't as hot as they should have been and the kids chicken strips were tempura style so very greasy. Lovely atmosphere and staff.

Warm welcome when we arrived and given choice of tables available. Drinks ordered and no problem asking for jug of water for table. Staff helpful and interactive. Well presented starters and mains. Good was delicious and even though pre theatre menu, wasn't skimpt! Drinks wee bit expensive but coffee was well made and in a large cup. Excellent! First time here and will return for sure.

The food was cooked and presented very well, but the portions were child size. My wife and I had to have a supper when we went home, as we were still hungry. I really think they need to revisit the size of the portions on offer, as this would not encourage me to go back to this restaurant.

I've already recomended Grapevine to a number of people, including the person who suggested it to me. Great service, fantastic food... it's been a long time since a plate of food made me laugh... this meal was truly joyful... finished off by Carrot cake with coriander garnished with sweet carrots and pea shoots! wow! lol.

Food was delicious well presented. We sat at front of resturant which was quite quiet. I think if you want to sit in main conservatory you may have to ask. We used a voucher so meal was well worth money we paid . I will be back.

As a vegetarian I was delighted to see there was more than one option per course and these options were exciting and adventurous combinations ! The deserts were yummy too.

It is on menu was poor there wasn,t a lot of choice and the panacotta desert wasn,t very nice at all. Also my husband ordered a stirlon steak and asked to pay the extra as there was nothing he liked. The steak was ok not great and was definitely not a sirloin. I would say however staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice, cosy type of restaurant. Were met, and seated at our table straight away. The choice of food on the menu wasn't great, and the chicken dish we ordered was very plain. Fairly small portions too. The deserts again, were nothing to shout about and the cheese & biscuits were exceptionally expensive for what we got! All in all, I don't know if we would go back there, the food was nice enough, but too plain and just not much of it. Beware, if u order the cheese and biscuits there's an extra charge of £5 on top of the normal deserts menu prices!

excellent food, excellent service & a pleasant atmosphere. The service was good if not a little too rapid as our plates were removed as soon as the last mouthful of food reached our mouths.

Food was nice, & kids portions were generous. We felt that the customer service was just ok. The one thing that was lacking was the atmosphere unfortunately. Not sure if it would be different at front of restaurant. I would definitely give it another try if a deal was available.

Food was excellent and the service was very good. Only minor criticism was that as the Restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday night we were aware that the background music was in a loop. Overall I would highly recommend the Grapevine.

Excellent cocktails and steaks, we had the chateaubriand and the meat was lovely but didn't like the massive hand cut chips they were more like potatoes as chips are supposed to be crispy. Also came with mountain of black pudding & onion rings in batter which was slightly greasy. Thankfully we had ordered French fries which were like normal chips. Lovely staff very professional I would definitely go back.
