Grappolo Pizzeria

Now been several times and always enjoyed our visit usually to take advantage of the 'Early Bird' deal or the Quandoo book on line discount, this makes it tremendous value. Still good food, generous portions and good service.

We have now been to Grappolo, Horsforth, several times and each time has been very good and this time was no exception. Our party was seven in number including two children and all were extremely satisfied. We had the early bird Menu which is tremendous value and as good as ever.Will continue to frequent this restaurant.

Staff were attentive and food quite good. The "warm salad" starter was more like roast chicken and bacon in (too much) sauce with a side salad, but very tasty. My wife's ravioli main course was good but a much smaller dish than my pizza, of which I had two thirds remaining when she had eaten all hers. Tables on either side of us seemed to be friends of the Maitre d' and he spent most of our time there speaking loudly to one or other group of people and sitting at their table. We felt a bit like we were crashing someone's party. Also we felt that £10 for a beer and a glass of wine was excessive. Not sure if we will return.

Everything about this restaurant is very italian and very lovely. My friend and I have visited twice and will continue to. Great food, service, wine, atmosphere and good prices

This was our first visit to the restaurant. From start to finish the service was excellent, the food was superb. Would recommend this restaurant. We will visit again.

Very friendly atmosphere. A warm welcome on arrival. Very good menu choice with quality ingredients going into the dishes and everything at a good price. The prawn cocktail for starters was the best I've eaten!

Fabulous service and amazing food. There were six of us and everybody thought their food was outstanding. Great value - will definitely be returning again.

Visited Sunday 28th June at 5pm Lovely atmosphere, excellent service and fantastic food. Other half said it was the best Pizza he'd every had! Looking forward to our next visit!

On Friday 26th June 2015 we attended the Grappolo Pizzeria - It did not live up to expectations! The food was average BUT the service was very lacking and certainly did not come up to the claimed and expected awarding level. When taken to our table and once our order was taken we had to request cutlery at each course. The waiters and waitresses were less than attentive and did engage with customers. In our case this lead to repeated incorrect drinks orders as they were not paying proper attention. In fact, once "management" had left, the waitresses simply stood behind in the kitchen area eating strawberries in full view of customers! When asked for the bill we had to make a repeated request. Overall, the service was quite simply "slack" and wanting. Finally, the music was dreadful and just left on a loop so it kept repeating. We won't be going back as we did not rate the experience at all favourably.

The experience this time was frustrating - service was excellent as usual - but had to have 3 bills at the end before it was correct - we went for the early bird at 6.30 p.m. and was charged full price. Had to challenge the bill 3 times before it was corrected? The experience is never the same when Mo is not there!!

Yet another 'Early Bird' reservation, this was still tremendous value, any starter and any mains Pasta or Pizza from the a' la carte plus a glass of wine or soft drink for £12.95. the food and service were again excellent. Will continue to frequent this establishment.

Food great, service was a little slow and wow it was no noisy with being full. Having said that I am going again later this week cause I just love the food.

Lovely food, good value for money. Lasagne a bit too hot, burnt throat with it. Waiters v good with our grumpy little boy. Would definitely return.

This is my third review, for the first two we had the tremendous value early bird menu, this time we chose from the main menu which we found to be excellent for quality, service and value especially taking advantage of the Quandoo arranged 20% discount for earlier eating.

Grappolo is the best Italian restaurant in Leeds, probably in Yorkshire! We only discovered it a couple of months ago - how did we miss it?! Amazingly delicious food, friendly, welcoming, attentive staff, we can't wait for our next visit!. A very generous restaraunt, with a great vibe. Nothing is too much trouble. We took friends last night and they loved it as much as us. Thank you.

Food and atmosphere was great but a real problem was it took one hour to get main course as so busy and few staff working.

This was the 3rd time we have been. we came 1st time as a gift for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed so much we brought our visiting cousin with us, the last time was a treat from my mum for my 60th birthday .will be going back soon Janice

Really friendly restaurant with a good atmosphere. Busy but order taken quickly and food lovely. Waiters/Waitresses knew when to come over and when to give you space to eat, very refreshing. Clean and modern restaurant and facilities.

The restaurant was busy when we arrived and we had to wait 10 minutes or so for our table. The staff were friendly and attentive but not too in your face and we were given plenty of time to peruse the menu. The first course came quickly though we did have quite a wait for the main course. However the food when it came was excellent and we had no complaints about it. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

Out of 4 diners in our party , 3x had a perfect meal with brilliant food, service and ambience to the resteraunt. 1 x diner was not overly impressed with the quality of the veal but said nothing till the end. The manager wss so apologetic and without asking deleted the cost of that course from the bill, and after discussions wiyh the chef it appears that we probably got the last of the veal of the day which may not have been the best and that they should have stated they were out of it. Cant say fairer than that and we would still highly recommend this resteraunt and will be going back again. : )

The food was good & fresh, The portions were generous and well presented. The Service was Prompt and attentive and overall excellent. All in all it was good value.

A very clever mix of excellent service in a convivial & informal environment serving a broad range of good, reasonably priced food. It’s really just the basic requirements for any hospitality business of this genre but not all of them get it right, I think Grappolo does.

The service was excellent, Good choice of starters and main courses. The food was first class. A very enjoyable evening. We will be returning in the near future
